What's the best website to study about English literature?

Here's yet another English literature website. Although it may look similar to the others, it actually has a very different focus. My name is Adil and I hail from Peshawar, Pakistan. I recently completed my BS English (Hons). During my studies, I often faced difficulty in finding supplementary study material for my classes. There are plenty of websites for this; however, the main problem I faced was regarding the language. Websites like shmoop and gradesaver have a heap of study guides for many literary works. But the language they use is usually not simple and easy to understand. Moreover, some literary works are not covered by these websites at all.So after I graduated, I decided to go ahead and make such a website myself. And that's how High Quality English Literature Notes From LitPriest came into being. This website focuses on simplicity of language so that students of all backgrounds and all levels can easily comprehend literary works such as essays, short stories, poems, and so on.The website doesn't have a lot of content as of now but me and my team are working on it day and night to turn it into a large database of easy to grasp study guides for students of English literature. Please feel free to check out the website and join the forum.

Is there a website like sparknotes but for spanish literature?

These are not like the site you mentioned, but each one should help on different occasions.
This is a good one-site collection of works by numerous South American authors: http://sololiteratura.com/php/
If you simply google individual names in Spanish, there is usually a site about every reknowned writer. For example: http://www.elpasajero.com/indice.htm
The following is a major literature site with links to all over the Spanish speaking world. (Unfortunately, the site needs work, and not all the links are good.)
http://www.elcastellano.org/literatu.htm...
http://archivodigital.cervantes.es/buscador/busca.asp?query=literatura%
20espanola&egrp=1912602624&cervantes=1
*This English language site links to many important and useful Spanish sites; both Cervantes links are essential. http://www.gavilan.edu/spanish/text/links.html
http://www.waldemoheno.net/Medioevo/Escritoresmedievales.htm
Amazing poetry page. No explanations, but there are excellent readings of the poems.

IS there a SITE I can download a literature book for free, don't want to pay $100 for it, I only need 4 6 wks

The Gutenberg Project has tens of thousands of books available for free download in pdf

http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/main_page....

If, by chance, there is something you can't find there... then one of my English professors gave me this site, which is basically the same thing and was put together by the University of Pennsylvania:

http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/lis...

Or you can take this route and just search the book you want and enjoy on this site :

http://books.google.com/bkshp?hl=en&tab=...

All copyrighted material is illegal to download. Here are some sites that have non-copywrited material for reading:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/bro...
http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/......
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/
http://www.baen.com/library/
http://www.ebooks3.com/
http://www.free-ebooks.net/
http://e-library.net/free-ebook.htm...
http://truly-free.org/
http://www.hismercy.ca/content/hm_ebooks...
http://www.bookyards.com/
http://www.redbirdstudio.com/e_books/......
http://www.free-online-novels.com/......
http://www.getfreeebooks.com/
http://www.questia.com/index.jsp...
http://www.bibliomania.com/1/frameset.ht...
http://www.starry.com/novel/authors.htm....
http://www.bygosh.com/features.htm......
http://www.bygosh.com/thebestnovels.htm....
http://www.bookspot.com/ask/
http://www.bookspot.com/

But I would try the Gutenberg Project first. I think their collection is more extensive
