Are There Any Video Games That Also Have Accessories Or Apps

Boyfriend addicted to video games?

My boyfriend is addicted to video games. He's always liked them, but two weeks ago he went out and bought an Xbox and I've barely seen him since. We used to always talk every day on the phone and now he says he doesnt want to talk on the phone anymore because he's busy playing his Xbox. Every time I call him all i hear in the backgroung is people dying and gunshots. We've been going out for two years and I've always felt like i could call him and talk to him whenever I wanted but now I can't. And whenever I go over to his house he ignores me and plays video games the whole time! and when i ask him to please stop playing the video games when im over hes rude to me. I just want to break up with him because obviously he loves the Xbox more than he loves me.

What accessories do you own for an old video game console?

The weirdest one I can remember owning would be the Nintendo Uforce Power Field Controller for the NES. I somehow ended up with one when I was young. I can’t remember if my parents got it for me or if I got it from the yard sale, but I definitely remember it being absolutely horrible. You were essentially supposed to be able to control any game with it by swinging your hands in front of an infrared sensor of some kind, but I could never get it to work right, and it was just an effort in frustration every time.—Another game accessory that I used quite a bit as a kid was the Super NES Mouse. It came with this big plastic mouse pad that you could set on a table or just on your lap. The only game I ever had for it was Mario Paint, and I have fond memories of making music and playing the fly-swatting mini-game.I later discovered there were some other games that used the mouse, such as the Lord of the Rings real-time-strategy game, or Mario & Wario, which was a puzzle game that was only ever released in Japan. Definitely more useful than the Uforce, it still comes off as a weird accessory to have for a video game console.

What are the best games or apps that can help in teaching science in high school?

For high school students, Mobile applications and games usage is not advisable.Let them do something on their own ,The best one is playing with a kiteMake a kite, it teaches you a lot of scienceKites are fun to make and fly outside on a nice, slightly windy day. Making a simple diamond kite is an easy craft project you can complete in one afternoon. Start by making the frame for the kite. Then, measure and cut the sail for the kite in the shape of a diamond. Finish up the kite by adding the flying line and the tail to ensure it flies properly. You can also decorate the kite when it is done so it looks extra pretty as it soars in the air.physical forces, including aerodynamic lift, drag, weight and thrust, all of which are supplied by different factors. For an object to stay airborne, it must maintain a neat balance between these forces. They work on everything in the same way, irrespective of its size, from a gigantic Boeing airbus to something as small and light as a kite.To get the kite airborne, first of all, you need to provide it with enough lift to counteract its own weight. Although there are numerous factors (e.g.,the shape of the kite, its motion in the air, quality of air, etc.) that affect the amount of lift produced in a kite, the principal contributor is the velocity of air that goes by the kite. The design of kites helps too; if you notice, they are made of a very light (but rigid) material and have minimal accessories (in the form of thin, wooden spokes) attached to them. Their shape is also streamlined (with a pointed leading corner) to help them split the oncoming air.Weight (FW) – the gravitational force of the earth pulling down on the kiteLift (FL) – pushes the kite up and is the upward force acting on the kiteTension (FT) – the pull originating from the person holding the stringDrag (FD) – the push of the wind against the kiteThese competing forces contribute to a net force—that is, a single, mathematically summed force that accelerates the kite, meaning it causes the kite to change its straight speed in a certain direction, or keeps the kite in equilibrium. Newton’s Second Law tells us that when a net force is present, the acceleration of the kite depends on the size of the net force and the mass of the kite.Pic & Source:Make a Kite With Physics - Science Friday

What is the best place to buy video games, other than Gamestop?

Hello fellow console gamer!I’ve been in the same “situation”; GameStop is expensive and there are practically no other places that sell discs and I couldn’t be bothered to buy something from PlayStationStore. My reasoning was mostly that I got banned from ps network due to bad network.I would recommend that you look at any local electronic store and look the gaming section. It’s probably on the more expensive side of the spectrum, but it’s a start. Other than that, you can find a local place that sells used games (doubt you’ll find any of the new and awesome games there though). You’ll most likely also find various Facebook sites/groups where people trade/sell/give away used or unwanted games. You can of course use amazon, eBay or aliexpress if you prefer that. If you know any other sell/trade sites that are from your home country, you can try there.Good luck mate!

How advanced do you speculate video games will become?

The games are not going to get more advanced in terms of their simulation (of physics etc.) than they are now.Paradoxically, the reason for that is that the graphics and audio is TOO GOOD.There is a game called Dwarf Fortress. It runs in TEXT MODE. A friggin’ text mode! And yet, in that game, every randomly generated dwarf has a complete genealogy, there are complex relationships between random non-related dwarves, so if you kill dwarf X in location A, it may happen that dwarf Y in location B will learn about his death and either ask you about it, or downright accuse you of having something to do with that.Trees actually grow, water actually flows etc. Kinda like in Minecraft, but in text mode. Now, the game can do it, because it is not required to generate random (and yet similar) faces for dwarves, it doesn’t have to simulate drops of blood flying through air or shading of the leaves on trees. But a typical modern game has “AAA graphics”; someone has spent years 3D modelling everything, then animating it, shading it etc. Showing how a branch from a tree is falling, bouncing off the terrain, sliding down a slope etc. would be too complex if it had to happen with everything; dialogues have to be fully voiced, which precludes random generation; in Dwarf Fortress, the game can randomly generate name like “Olaf Dwarfunsson”, and it’s no problem, but if a modern 3D game wanted that, someone would have to program how to produce audio of the name’s pronunciation; any generated dialogue would have to be properly voiced. This then means they cannot randomly generate those, and instead have to think in advance about all possible sentence by all possible characters. This is why in Mass Effect (1–3), you can write your first name (Jane, John, Samantha, Luke, Claire or Charles…), but your last name is always Shepard and everyone calls you by your last name.

Many people say to buy experiences, not things. Is a video game an experience, a thing, or both?

Owning a video game is not an experience. Playing is.Having said that, the mantra implies that material possessions are less satisfying in the long term  than experiences. Usually "travel" is given as the poster child of  "experience worth paying for". Examples of things not that worth your  money tend to be more fuzzy, but it often floats around "new computer",  "fancy car", etc. One tends to remember a trip as a very valuable  experience, but interest for material possessions fades over time. What makes this concept valuable is because it's counterintuitive for a lot of people: how can a one-off experience be more rewarding than a long-lasting physical object? This  distinction is not always useful as presented because things often enable experiences. That's why we see doubts such as the one expressed by the question. Going to a LAN gaming center and playing there is not necessarily more fulfilling than owing and playing your own console or PC games. Moreover, there are cool cars and, dare we say, trips that suck. The core difference between things and experiences, or how to spend your time and money wisely, is to focus on what you want to do, not what you want to have. Having things provide little actual gratification, doing things is what makes something worth it. How many consoles and gaming accessories became market failures because they had great concepts behind them, but very few good games to make the purchase justifiable? As we see, playing video games is potentially an experience, but it depends on how you enjoy it. If you buy one particularly game from your wish list, this game is a thing, so over time you will grow tired of playing it - your satisfaction with that thing will decrease over time and you will be compelled to buy another one. However, you may also have gaming rounds with friends, enjoying good food and drinks in a relaxed environment, competing with each other, cracking jokes: these will eventually become memorable experiences, to be reminded for many years to come. Sometimes, the difference between a thing and an experience is our mindset.
