But she isn't a real girl it was an animation, An animation which looked too real and could pass by as the real Game, Probably made by someone who works for naughty dog or a good animator
I don't know guys, What do you all say? Was it wrong?

2D animation vs 3D animation?

it really depends on you. if you can express more emotion in 2d or 3d that is. some people can express the drama better in 3d cause of the details that can only be accomplished using 3d programs. if you think about it movies like finding nemo, coraline, and.. actually almost all 3d kids movies are more dramatic than 2d animation movies like cinderella snow white etc.. with 3d you can animate the entire picture more easily than just the characters. one thing i notice in 3d animation movies is that the setting is really beautiful and helps create the mood(coraline is a really good example). but I do get your point. drawing by hand feels more flexible than using some 3d program. and about the school.. I know one in canada. vancouver film school i think. I know someone who studied there and now works in pixar.

How can I do animation course?

I strongly suggest you first understand how a 2d or 3d animation is produced. You can see how its done on may videos in youtube. In animation, each artists is hired specifically to do one type of job as a specialist, like illustrator, animator or modeler or a lighting artist. There are different processes in 2d and 3d, and go through them both. Understand what is your core interest in the process of animation and start to learn the tools and develop the skill set for it.Dont try to learn everything in one go, the institutes will try to sell you all the packages and entice you to join a 2- 3 year course, which is a waste of time. This is like a film industry, a certificate wont guarantee a job but your talent and potential will.Learn one software at a time and also focus on the aesthetic development along with it.For eg. If you want to be a character modeler in 3d animation, you will learn Zbrush or MAYA, but you will get a better output if you also learn sculpting, portrait, figure drawing for better proportions.Software is easy to learn, its the art part that you have to learn and develop a strong skill set in it.

My boyfriend wants to join the Air Force?

My boyfriend of 2 years, out of the blue told me he wants to join the Air Force as soon as possible. Thing is, he has a job at the airport that isn't that great as well as the pay. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer animation, which he considers now I waste of time and money, and feels the military is the only way to have a good future.

A bunch of stuff is going through my mind. First: I recently got a job as a Graphic Designer at an agency and is not something I wanna give up soon to move someplace else at a base. Second: military life is not something I really want and really despised anything to do with that due to bad experiences from my dad when he was in the Army.

Third: I don't wanna be obligated to change my plans out of nowhere just because he decided what he wants for us and also he wants to get marry as soon as possible but I'm not ready yet for that and much less kids...
I Know he's doing it with the best intentions but tried to encourage him to keep going trying on his career as animator and artist, and not of a soldier. It's his decision, I know, but I have no idea what to do with all this...

2D animation dead in U.S. What do I do now?

2d animation isn't dead in the U.S., it's still used. Just not so much on tv. Most of it has moved online. Now for tv stuff mostly that stuff is in made in korea now, and the person that said the legend of korra is the perfect answer to show that it was animated from korea (look it up on google). To be honest this is my personal opinion because I want to be an animator, but I don't care for the medium I use since I like both 2d and 3d animation. I would say not to limit yourself to just trying only 2d animation, there's a lot of competition for these type of jobs and it's best to have all types of skill so in case if you don't get the one you want right away you have another back up at all times. But that's just me, you can do you.

How much do animators earn here in the Philippines?

As far as I know a good animator can earn as much as P30,000 to P45,000/month. And that was more than 10 years ago. One of my cousins used to work for Toon City, they are making Walt Disney cartoons. So all Walt Disney cartoons are made in the Phils. Other than Walt Disney, they also make other cartoons from different US animation studios, like Looney Toons, etc.

Check the wikepedia link for you to know and understand the company. And the other link is their website. Go to their website, they are looking for the positions I listed below, perhaps you can have a career there, good luck.

•2D ARTIST
•3D ARTIST
•LAYOUT ARTIST
•FLASH DEVELOPER
•FLASH DESIGNER
•HR STAFF
•ACCOUNTING STAFF
•DIGITAL BACKGROUND ARTIST

Which animation software does OwnagePranks use to make his animated prank videos?

He made a video of him creating his videos not too long ago... I think it was one of his latest videos... Anyways, he uses Sony Vegas. It's pretty good for animating test... But if you want to creat extremely good looking text animations you should check out adobe after effects.
