Some of the easiest art/craft which you could create out of materials at home are1.Penstand: The below penstands are created out of cardboard and (udbathi )or what we call the agarbhati container cardboard, you can either paint them or glue them up with colorful papers , i have glued some icecream sticks and then painted them.According to your choice you can create the look of the penstand.2.Newspaper craft :Cut newspaper into random pieces and stick them on a cardboard,later create a sketch over it with some colors pens3.Colorfull cards : If you have some color papers and paint at home you can create very beautiful cards out of it4.Craft out of old table calender : When the table calender is old and its time to throw them away , you can make some interesting creations , like a name plate for your work/study desk , or just write some quotes on it using letters you find in newspaper
Do you like doing arts n crafts?
Listen you are never too old to do something you enjoy doing...of course there are limitations, but those are things that are dubbed as inappropriate..doing arts and crafts is not inappropriate. You are enjoying yourself and expressing yourself. What is the wrong in that? I am 24 years old and I make plush toys. And for the most part I do keep them. I also give them away. Some people may think it's childish, but why should I care what they think? I am enjoying myself, I am not harming anyone and I give them to the people I care most about (and myself included). Why should people put a limit to it? I don't think it's for people decide but the individual. You want to keep doing these crafts. Then go for it. You aren't too old. Aren't I older than you and I don't think I'm too old for it :) Keep doing what you do and have fun!
Craft ideas for 1950s sock hop for kids age 5 to 11?
I think the younger kids might like to make collages. Find a line drawing of different 1950s themes like Hot Rods, people dressed like greasers, jukeboxes, poodles (for skirts). The kids can color them and cut them out. Then provide construction paper, glitter, craft lace, etc so they can make a 1950s collage.

What is a list of arts/crafts ideas that are fun/appropriate for teenage boys between the ages of 12-16?
A cool idea is building a city out of boxes where each person designs and constructs their own building and they put the building on a large street plan drawn on butcher paper with rivers and other features to build around. It's SimCity in real life. It really could be in any scale depending on the size of boxes you have available and the size of the space you have available. You just need lots of tables or surfaces for each kid to be able to have room to design and construct their building. I did this for kids at an art festival several years ago. We got all the materials donated, plus a lot of us brought boxes of a variety of sizes, paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes and other materials they could use. We had markers but you could also use spray paints which the kids would like, if you have proper ventilation. The city was about 30' x 20' and we had city blocks and property lines drawn on the paper. Our focus was on elementary school age, but I think this could be use for boys of the age range you mentioned. You could provide all kinds of tubes, wires, boxes, foil, paints, and just let them go to town (literally). What we found was the adults got into it too and everyone had a great time. The results were incredibly creative and everyone got to contribute a part to the whole.
I need crafts good for kids ages 7-13?
It's definitely hard to find crafts that 7-13 year old kids would like. I live in a very "crafty" household, and have a 7 year old sister & 13 year old brother.
