As An American I Have A Question To Ask The World If You Have A Sec

Interview Question: you have 30 seconds, how would you impress me?

Well, It is like an elevator pitch. So you meet a senior management individual and you have 30 seconds to charm him. There is no hard and fast rule.Remember your strengths (play on them)If there is a handshake, be firm. Grasp is important.Keep your hands in the front. Hands at back show compliance. Keep the fingers crossed and hands in the front near the belly button. Smile (Relieves stress and shows you are confident)Read the person all along. Sometimes you can continue speaking and person may lose interest in 10 seconds. Grab his attention back by some eye-catching words like "Now, this is what's most important". Modulate your pitch. You will have his/her attention back.People say start with a bang. Rather, be creative in your own way. Again, there is no single unique way. Take examples. Most important: Imbibe and not remember 1-6.Remember, a failed pitch once can lead to a much better pitch next time. Hope this helps.

How much our world will change if 1min.=100 sec.?

The world wouldn't change, but we'd all be at a total loss as to what time it actually was.  I don't know if you want to change the length of a minute or the length of a second, but trying to switch either would just create far too much chaos everywhere if this system was somehow forced on everybody, which it could not be.  Everyone would have a good laugh and keep using their time tested watches.  Trying to update all the computers, and gps systems, and clocks, and even our brains to get used to the new system would be a near impossible task. You are not the first person to consider something like this.  This Wikipedia article, Metric time covers the subject pretty well.  We've had a sexagesimal time system since the Babylonians and Sumerians.  A man named Joseph Louis Lagrange proposed a time system in 1794, based on decidays and centidays with time units that were 1/10, 1/100, 1/1000, or 1/100,000 day.  Had his ideas been accepted there might not even be time units called seconds or minutes.  Maybe crons or ticks.I could be wrong.  Maybe we would all live 40% longer and have more time to enjoy life.  What do you think?   (Humorous sarcasm -- no offense intended)One thing I am positive about.  Even if the entire world decided to do it, Americans wouldn't go along with it.

How do I get a 5 on the AP world history exam?

I can not stress this enough. AP World History is super easy if you just study right! As others have said read the rubric and their notes on key ideas. Memorize all of that and try and attach it to other facts from your textbook. It is almost eerie how the same wording from the College Board course description would be on their test. Most importantly focus on the transitions between the eras in history. Focus on what stayed the same and what changed between eras (technology, trade, power, religion, etc). When I took the test I came in with a ton of facts which I thought would help me get a good score. Turns out that it was my study of the transitions and big ideas that got my a 5. The multiple choice section is ridiculously easy mostly conceptual. You need to get yourself to the point where you know the qualities of each time period so well that when faced with a multiple choice question about something you dont know you can think about what was going on and find the most plausible answer.Example: if we are talking about ancient Egypt do you think they were teaming up with the Ottomans to take over Russia or finding new methods of agriculture? Only one of those makes sense when you know the big ideas of that era. Also in the free response section just write something. Even if you don’t know what you are talking about/doing just write. It works sometimes. Some good links:Site with a bunch of resources. Pay attention to the cram packets. They are literally gold. Better than most review books.Course Description (page 44–111)More cram packetsThere is another site with highlights of needed information for a bunch of main ideas… Unfortunately I cant for the life of me find it!Also I thought I should share my timeline of world history. It should give you a basic idea of what was going on in each area of the world during each era. Each horizontal grey section represents a major time period. Enjoy!Disclaimer: I am just a kid. I made this in a couple hours just for myself. It is not meant to be published. Please understand there will be glaring spelling and content errors. Sorry!

15.6 sec on 100 meter dash ?

Not a horrible time but not a good time either. But you know that because you ran your first meet and you know where you stand among others. Chalk this meet up to experience. Practice a fast start (without false starting!). Hopefully you have a good coach; listen to him/her. Shoot for a personal record (PR) in each meet and things will fall into place. And relax. It's not the end of the world if you have a bad race every now and then. Stay motivated and always do your best.......remember, go for a PR every meet.

If i was on section 8 can i adopt from foster care or be a foster parent ?

Call your local county Housing Authority where you live and ask them. Stop asking people who dont know.

Have you heard about Americans being chipped in 2017??

I recently found this on Facebook and I am outraged. Apparently, in bill H.R. 4872 on page 1014, there is a section titled Subtitle C—National Medical Device Registry - SEC. 2521. I don't know if it is real or not - that's why I'm asking you!

Here is the bill link http://housedocs.house.gov/rules/hr4872/111_hr4872_reported.pdf
I found this out from http://dcgazette.com/all-americans-will-receive-a-microchip-implant-in-2017-per-obamacare/
and http://topinfopost.com/2013/10/23/all-americans-microchipped-by-2017-video

I like guns, women, beer, fox news, tea, old music, old cars. I will NEVER own a credit card. ILL NEVER BE CHIPPED!!!

Thanks for answering!

Did you know NFL athletes are the best in the world?

How do we define an athlete? Speed/strength/size? The NFL leads in all of these categories. Strength: Larry Allen has bench pressed 700lbs, Justin Geisinger, Jason Whitlock, Casey Hampton, Sam Rayburn & a host of other players routinely bench over 650lbs. Sam Rayburn squats 960lbs & about 100 other NFL players squat over 800lbs

Speed: Chris Johnson (Titans) runs a 4.24 (sec) over 40 yards or 10.30 over 100 metres. DeSean Jackson, DeAngelo Hall & about another 50 NFL players run 4.30 (sec) over 40 yards. This is world class speed!!! Usain Bolt the fastest man on the planet runs 9.58 over 100 metres (only a difference of 7 tenths of a second)

Size: Every team in the NFL features a group of players standing 6'7/6'8 and weighing in at 370lbs. These guys can move too!! The best athletes are Linebackers/Running backs who generally weigh around 250lbs with 5% body fat!!

The above data is FACT!! The logic is undeniable, no matter what you may think of the game the NFL hosts the world's best athletes, bigger, stronger & faster than any other players in any other sports code!! Remember this the next time you bag or insult NFL players because they wear helmets, they need to because of the high impact of the game!! A game is only as tough as the men who play it!! Peace out!!
