Is there any way of stopping an attachment of earnings order when it is leaving me with no money at all?
I earn a low wage of £13'500, I have a bus pass loan that is deducted from that monthly and once that is taken Sefton Council are talking 12% which leaves me around £750. I pay £350 rent, £90 council Tax, £30 water, £30 Electric, £30 Gas £25 tv License, £150 child maintenance. That Leaves me £45, for an entire month, it's to the point where I may have to quit my job. I read something about protected earnings for minimum amount needed to live on, I didn't follow it though ?? Is there anything at all I can do ?? any help I would be eternally grateful for, Kind Regards, Alan.

That entry in my child support docket shows up a couple of times over the last 6 months, and the CS payments have been all screwy. But he claims he still has his job. Why would there be unemployment compensation being withheld in the docket if he says he wasn't fired? YES YOU CAN.You can leave. You owe the landlord the rent. There will be a delay between you stopping paying and being evicted, so it is possible to stay rent free for a time, but it is not without consequences. Depending on your country, you will still owe the money,Landlords can and will come after you for rent even after you have been evicted. In the UK we can get a court order for attachment of earnings which takes money from your paycheck every month until it's paid off, or send bailiffs around to seize and property you have. Added to the rent will be the costs of getting you evicted and obtaining the order.Even if they can't take money from you (if you have none) the damage to your credit rating will make it very hard to rent anywhere else, get a credit card, buy a car or even get a mobile phone. It may even prevent you getting certain jobs. This will last a few years.
What do you do in the UK if a tenant owes you money?
Two parts to this.1 Your property is an income generator. A tenant that does not pay is stopping you from getting an income. You have to either get the income flowing from the tenant or evict them. If you want a tenant out during a secure term then you have to get a possession order. Once you gave an order you can instruct a bailiff to force entry and evict.2 Getting the money. If the person is still in your property and is not accruing any more arrears them you can negotiate to add what they owe on top of their rent.If they have moved out then you may have to find them first. Going to court does not guarantee you get your cash or legal costs. Court officers have little powers to seize goods except for anything outside the home such as a car. Often bankruptcy is your only option if you cannot get money from a bailiff, third party debt order or attachment of earnings.
What place and relevance does passing the MRCP (UK) hold in an Indian medical practice?
MRCP is an internationally recognised medical degree. If you are looking for job prospects in India you will be slightly dissapointed. It is of no importance if you are seeking a job in government sector. In private sector some corporate hospitals may prefer candidates with MRCP holders in addition to MD general medicine. Many MRCP holders who dont have a general medicine MD has been working as consultant physician in private hospitals.That used to be the trend when there was shortage of MD general medicine doctors. But now I don't see hospitals employing only MRCP holders as there is no shortage of MD general medicine doctors. Patients here in Kerala where I practice acknowledge it's importance and respect your abilities. Having said that degrees don't matter much in the long run. If you are a successful practitioner patients will come to you irrespective of your degrees.The importance of MRCP is in its recognition abroad. An MRCP holder is given a higher status and pay in gulf countries than MD general medicine even in Indian hospitals. There is better job opportunity also. It's also recognized in Ireland and Singapore if you are planning to do any fellowships there though it doesn't guarantee a medical registration there. If you are planning to settle in Australia it gives a boost to your C.V. if you are applying through specialist pathway. US doesn't care whether you have it or not. In fact many program directors doesn't even know that such a degree exist.So get your MRCP if you are planning to train outside or practice in gulf.If you are planning to practice in India get it if you don't have a MD general medicine but you want to practice as a consultant physician. It might be difficult to pass MRCP without general medicine practice in an academic institute.Go for MRCP if you are very fascinated to get an extra degree in your name board and you don't mind the money for that(2.2lakh INR plus another 1 lakh for the coaching)
Income you need to appy for food stamps.?
how low do your income have to be to get food stamps. i really dont need it but when i move out and start paying for my books and apartment with bills. i MAY need to apply. and do they give you garbage food.i really dont know how this works. is it a bad thing to be on foodstamps?im kind of shamed.but my mom was never on food stamps because she REFUSED.I respect that because she had 3 kids with low income and we still were happy.
Is my Landlord responsible for weatherstripping?
If your landlord supplied the heater and it works, then the unit is "fit and habitable" regardless of how efficient the energy you pay for is used. In the owner's "what's in it for me" mindset, it is not cost efficient for any improvements, such a weatherstripping, to the unit. Weatherstripping, especially in a place like Arizona, not commonly known for its cold weather, and likely a high turnover rate for renters(or short memory spans) would not likely be high on a potential renters mind at the initial contract signing. If you plan on staying an extended period of time, try to negotiate a deal with the landlord OR do it yourself. But be careful -- if not done correctly, the landlord can hold you liable for your installation attempt an/or for not getting permission for such installation (on most contracts). Nor can you legally remove it once installed.
