Authentic Jordans - Peace Of Mind Guarantee - Lace-mup

Have U Ever Had a Flip Flop Or Sandal Break In Public? Etiquette?

At our job I had a pair of Dr Scholls thong sandals on and the side completely ripped off.Tried to staple it but it didn't work

I work on the phone for a call center place. My manager said I can stay barefoot around the area but if I go take a break I had to wear the not broke down one and hold the broken shoe.

We only get 30 minutes for lunch,so I ended up going with friends to take Subway back to work, without shoes on.

Not that I mind going barefooted. But I want it to be my choice and not my shoe's choice.

Did this happen to anyone else when they were working, shopping,or ??? Do you finish running your errands or did you stop everything important for it?

If so, do you 1) Go barefoot 2) Wear one shoe and hold the broken one to have only one foot bare or 3)Walk real slow and be in pain trying to grip the strap with your toes while walking?

(Get another pair of shoes isn't an option, since you have to get to another pair somehow by way of one of the 3 methods I mentioned above).

Do people actually wear Timberland boots for hiking?

Yes, but they have become largely obsolete for that specific purpose as hikers today move lighter and faster and all of their gear choices have responded in kind. The iconic Timberland 10061 model was first created in 1973 at a time when most hiking boots were made from very thick leather and had a stiff welted (stitched) construction. To keep hiking boots of that era waterproof, they would have to be regularly treated with silicone or similar user applied waterproofing treatments and would often still leak where the sole had been stitched to the upper materials. The innovation of the Timberland boot boot was twofold, first the >2mm thick leather was impregnated with silicone directly and was therefore inherently waterproof. It was seam sealed on the backside of the few stitched seams. Secondly, the rubber sole was attached to the leather upper, not by stitching (in a waterproof shoe, any holes are problematic) but by a direct injection process. In this process the “glue” (a chemical polymer) which bonded the upper to the sole was also the midsole cushioning. It sealed all the typical seams at the bottom of the upper construction creating a lighter, more cushioned, inherently waterproof boot right out of the box. They were excellent hiking boots in their day. Largely more comfortable than what was available at the time. The difference now is that most hiking shoes today are essentially taller and more durable sneakers. And that fulfills most people’s needs. Including a Goretex or similar waterproof membrane can keep your feet dry.Almost nothing has changed between the 1973 boot and today’s version. The boot remains iconic because it was a serious piece of innovation. But as today’s hikers have looked to more modern lightweight and flexible shoes, Timberlands live on as a fashionable piece of Americana.

To Muslims: Why didn't Muhammad perform non-violent resistance like?

Don't be naive. They don't understand that concept.

My wife is snoring in the recliner. Any pranks? Q tips in the nose or anything?

I wouldn't do a thing, otherwise you run the risk of her getting back at you while you sleep. Which may involve some super glue and one of your appendages.

CAN YOU HATE SoMEONE SO MUCH..? THAT YOU WANT TO KILL THEM?

Absolutely, I have felt this for many, many years about my mother-in-law. She's like the devil to me. I used to fantasize about sneaking around her house and shooting her through the kitchen window, sniper-style. It's extremely bad for me to be like this because I am a "wannabe good Christian", so I have these mental struggles almost everyday. I've also fantasized about strangling my stepson to death, because he did some seriously evil things to me too many times. I wonder how many "normal" people like you and I (not the psychos) are out there who have these same mind struggles as I have? No wonder psychos murder. If normal people are dreaming about it, then of course the psychos do to.

How does tying a bow around your finger help you remember things?

It's a little known fact that the nerves that define your sense of touch on your index fingers are the ones with the quickest connections routed directly to the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory. Tying a ribbon around the index finger means you constantly have a texture that's activating those nerves and thus keeping that part of the brain in alpha (high activity) mode. If you tie the ribbon (or wear a ring on your index finger, or any such apparatus) at the very moment you are trying to memorize something you mustn't forget later on, it associates that brain activity with said memory, keeping that pathway almost exclusively as a conduit for that memory.
