Automatically Getting Signed Out To Check Mail

Why do I keep getting signed out of my Yahoo email account?

In your browser’s setting, check if you’ve chosen to prevent Yahoo from auto-saving credentials.

How can I permanently "uncheck" the Yahoo Mail "Keep Me Signed In" box?

I don't want to have to uncheck the Keep Me Signed in box every time I sign into Yahoo Mail. I have already looked up possible solutions and changed my Yahoo Mail Options to keeping me signed in for only one day.. although I want it to be even less than that. I have also checked my Firefox settings and the cookies are supposedly being saved.

But this HAS NOT solved my issue. I still have to uncheck the box every time I log in.

Any help?

Yahoo messenger keeps signing me out if I check my mail !!!?

If you have the New Yahoo Mail with chat and the desktop Yahoo Messenger, you cannot be signed in to both.

When Yahoo detects that you’re already signed into Yahoo Mail with chat and you sign in to your Yahoo Messenger on your desktop, Yahoo will disconnect you. That’s why you get that message that you are signed in to another computer.

You must disable chat in your Yahoo Mail if you want to use your desktop Yahoo Messenger, by doing the following:

See the smiley face next to your user name at the top of the mail page? Click it – then click Sign out of chat. (If you never signed in, the face is gray and sleeping...meaning you're already signed out/disabled.)

Since Yahoo! Mail remembers your settings from session to session, you'll be signed out of chat until you change it.

Why does yahoo mail automatically log off every time I log on?

Make sure you click Keep me signed in for 2 weeks. Also it's caused by the Yahoo cookies being deleted when you close the browser. If you are using IE then go to and click Tools, click Internet options. Go to privacy and make sure the level is medium. For Firefox click Tools, then options, at privacy check the cookies options. Some anti virus/spyware may be deleting the cookies

I was on a school laptop and I was checking my e-mail and I accidentally left 'keep me signed in' checked. Then I forgot to sign out of gmail before I logged off of my school account.
Will people using that computer be able to read my e-mail?
Or will the 'stay signed in' only work when I specifically am logged into the computer on my school account?

You may have lost your settings in the upgrade, or you may be deleting cookies automatically or manually.

Why do i keep getting kicked off yahoo messenger?

i know this question has been asked but I am able to pinpoint a little more of when it happens. Because messenger/chat is available thru while in email mode, whenever I am signed into the messenger program and i go to check my yahoo mail, it automatically signs me out of the messenger program and signs me in thru the email. That's when I get the message that I have been signed in on another device. Is there a setting that I can use to keep yahoo from signing me into chat when i am checking my email?
