Bad Hairline Or Receding Hair

I'm 17 and my hairline is receding. What shall I do?

There's an old saying.“If you ar r balding in the front, then you are a thinker. If you are balding in the back then you are a lover. If you are balding front to back then you think you are a lover.”Doesn't matter. Nobody cares about your hairline. Stay in school, go to college, follow your dreams. The best looking men in the galaxy are bald or have receding hairlines.Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Patrick Stewart. Many more, look them up. Then stop worrying.Edit: I don't know how to see the O.P.s gender. I'm hoping he's male.

My hairline and pubic hair is receding...?

hair loss in women is often due to a medical condition.

for someone your age, the issue is most often thyroid disease or high blood pressure or a hormone imbalance.n (that you've noticed the hair loss is over your entire body rather than just your head, it's probably high blood pressure or a hormone imbalance)

make an appointment with your doctor to get a full physical. correct the medical issue & your hair will return.

I'm 14. My hair are going thin and my hairline is receding. How do I get my hair back?

I applaud you for not just catching the problem very early on but also trying to find solution for it. Most people wait till it's too late. I agree with Ishit below that once your hair are totally gone (dead from the root) then transplant might be the only way.Assuming that your diet and everything else is ok (no health issues), you could be doing a few things wrong. For e.g, you could be shampooing to often (everyday), you could also be shampooing with wrong shampoo (harsh chemicals) and with hard water which will further damage your hair. If you think your hair are harsh and lifeless after wash, then it could be the shampoo and the water. I had the very same issue as well, my hair started thinning and a part of my scalp was also visible and like you I also started researching on ways to get my hair back. I experimented with my blend of oils and it worked for me and for a lot of other people who have used it. Have a look at Satthwa.com and read my story.Lastly, do not worry about it, the more you stress the more hair fall is there.

Receding Hairline at 15?

Did anyone else in your family such as your grandfather or uncle have a receding hairline at such a young age? Sometimes that kind of thing can skip a few generations, and it is genetic usually. And shampooing every day doesn't make you go bald, but some shampoo's have very harsh chemicals in them, so that might be a problem. Look up some of the ingredients on the bottle, and see what they are/what they do. If that's it, there are plenty of natural alternatives out there.

I suggest that you go to a doctor just to be safe, most likely it's nothing and just unfortunate, but it might be a medical/dietary problem. If you want to, go to a vitamin store, and they have plenty of all-natural supplements that are good for the hair, vitamin E is good for hair and skin. They won't grow back what you've lost, but it will help keep your remaining hair strong and healthy. I'm not quite sure, but I also think Centrum offers up a supplement for men's hair loss.

Best of luck!

15 year old girl, hairline receding!?

Okay, so, I'm a fifteen year old girl with VERY VERY VERY VERY thick, fairly long (elbows to the small of the back, in different places) with an apparently receding hairline. Around the time I was thirteen, I started thinking about how wearing pony-tails and buns was probably pulling on my hair. I'm a worrier, so I tried to avoid doing it. Recently, my hair has gotten so long (and therefore so much mass) that a regular bun or ponytail is really too painful for me to wear - I usually wear my hair all the way down, or with the top half up, or in braids. Now, I may be nuerotic, but it appears to me like my hairline really is receding. I feel like my forehead is beginning to reach Christina Ricci proportions. I'm not comfortable posting a picture, but I can say that my mother (only 51) years old is beginning to bald on the top of her head - so would that make it possibly hereditary? Isn't 15 too young for this kind of crap!? What can I do, other than avoid pulling on it, to try and prevent or reverse this?!

I'm 19 and I have a bad receding hairline. I'm of Indian origin. How can I overcome this?

I would have to see a picture of your hair to give an exact answer. However, here is a remedy that you can try that has worked for hair loss. 1 part olive oil1 part almond oil1 part coconut oil10 drops Rosemary oilMix together in a 3 oz bottle and massage through your hair at night. In the morning, wash your hair. Do this 3-4 times per week. You should see a difference within 3-4 weeks.Another method that has helped me with growing my hair is Hairfinity. I saw a noticeably difference in my hairs thickness and length within 3 weeks. Don't be fooled by all the women testimonials. They can help you too. I hope this helps!

Do hats make you hairline recede?

Almost all myths and superstitions have SOME truth to them. Bad luck walking under a ladder? Yeah, cuz something might fall on you.
The hat causing baldness got its start because who is more likely to wear hats? Bald people! So lots of guys wearing hats had receding hair and people would say, huh, guess the hat caused it. Your hair line is 99% affected by your biological mothers biological fathers hairline. (your dads hairline means NOTHING about yours) Was maternal grandpa full bald, had full head of hair, or somewhere in between? AT what ages? Those answers will apply to you. Your hair will be almost identical (in regards to receding, baldness, thickness) as his HOWEVER keep in mind your family may only THINK he was biological father of your mother. So many secrets we never find out. The hat can affect your hairline but hardly enough to notice. It has a minimal affect due to simply rubbing hair causing it to fall out sooner (all hair falls out on everybody - it rotates to prevent baldness) and can reduce hair follicle function due to constriction. Like I said, it is MINIMAL.

I have been big hat wearer since a little kid but not so much that people make comment if they see me without one. Just enough that people who know me would say "he likes hats". I am 48 years old and full head of hair. Maybe a very slight recess and slightly thinner, but it is exactly the same as my moms dads hair was except for color.

Just FYI - our hair cycles by growing, and then after a certain amount of time growing it is released and falls out. In essence every hair will grow to a certain length (if uncut) and then fall out. The reason you are not bald all of a sudden is all those hairs don't cycle on exact same timeline. They rotate when they fall out. So if you never cut your hair, you would always have new short hairs starting out and longest hairs falling out. It happens so gradually that we do not notice. Everybody has a genetically determined maximum length. Your hair cannot grow any longer that that length. This makes it actually possible to never cut your hair and hair would always be at , lets say, waist length. This was one reason for past civilizations having long haired males. They did not prefer long hair so much as not cut it.

I'm 15 and have a receding hairline please help?

I'm 15 years old and have a receeding hairline it SUUCKS and is really deppresing. I noticed my receding hairline about 5 months ago: I went to the doctor and he couldnt find a reason why but he did say that I still have hair follicles in those areas which I'm not sure means that my hairline will grow back or not. I do eat a lot of unheathy foods. I hear that over masterbauting can cause hairloss and I use to masterbaute a lot. My hairline receeds more on the right than the left. My dad who is in his thirtys has a little bit of hairloss on top of his head. I was stress out a bit about 5 months ago so could that be why? Please answer and give your opinion on the situation even if you're not sure.
