The main setting is at the nursing home. It represents him doing his community service and helping Sol. The nursing home is where the concerts happened, where him and Sol became friends and where Alex learned alot of important life lessons. 3. Who is the main character and how do you learn what he/she is like? The main character is Alex Gregory. We learn what he is like by reading the story and finding out why he got drunk and crashed a car and what type of person he is. You also learn what type of person he is by seeing how he acts with Solomon Lewis and his best friend Laurie. 4. What is the universal message of the book? The universal message of the book is that you shouldn't drink and drive. 5.What is the universal conflict of the story? The universal confict of the story is when Alex gets in a car accident from drink driving, It causes anger from parents and causes him to do community service at a nursing home. 6.What is the most significant event in the book? Why? The most signifacant part of the book is when Alex finds a box called "Judy" and he finds out that it is his Judge and Solomon's daughter that never talks to him. It is the most significant part of the story because he realizes that he should'nt hate his dad becuase his mom and dad got a divorce and he should talk to his dad. It also helps Alex to get Judy to talk to Sol. 7.What is the most significant quote in the story? The most significant quote in the story is "Most parents love their children, and everybody deserves a second chance at happiness." How to get around parental Internet block?
Ever since junior year started I have been swamped with homework and studying. I'm a serious student, I take all AP classes and get straight As, will be going to a top-notch school, one of the top 25 nationally ranked. My high school is one of the top 100 in the country. My parents, especially my dad, don't trust me AT ALL this year. To keep from going insane I use my computer to talk to my friends, right, like any normal person would. It's not excessive or anything, but they keep saying it's taking over my life since I stay up so late. He has this program called Cisco Connect, and he has parental controls on it so that my desktop computer's Internet and wifi goes out at midnight. This is REALLY AGGRAVATING because I can't get all my homework done by then. I tell him that it's causing me to not finish my homework but he doesn't trust me or listen. He is the reason I didn't get straight As this quarter. At this point I'm really pissed off, my parents are causing my grades to suffer because they think I'm on "social sites" all the time. I'll be on Facebook for a few minutes (literally, a few) and he comes in and completely flips out, making a whole bunch of accusations and getting angry. HOW DO I GET MY INTERNET BACK?! Even if it's just wifi for my iPod, I need SOMETHING. I refuse to continue letting them ruin my track record and damage my chances at college acceptance. THANK YOU! (We have Comcast as a provider...And, if he just shut off the Internet COMPLETELY, as in not just for my computer and wireless devices, is it still possible to get my Internet back?)

Guys compartmentalize. When he left to go wherever, he took all his hopes and dreams and desires for you and put them in a box. What I found in your quetion is the ambiguity. If this is happening, it is surely lacking the frequency. It is perfectly good and healthy for your relationship to spend time with friends like 1-2 days per week. It became a problem when spending time with friends happened a lot or it is a reason to not be with you. However, I found when that happen, people normally angry about the frequency more and the question will have some words related to high frequency of friend-hang out. If that is not the case, I am apology for the wrong assumsion. But if it is not, you should start to be less controlling and find yourself some hobby as well as some honest conversation.

Turning in a half finished essay?
In an Hour? Good luck. Yes this did happen to me once. I had an astro physics paper due and I got my dates mixed up. I had the rough draft, and my outline but it was not finished. I explained what happened to the professor and he told me to e-mail it to him before midnight. I have to say I dodged a bullet, but the part that saved me was the fact that I did have an A in the class and it was the second in a sequence. He gave me the benefit of doubt since I attended all classes and always participated in discussions. While everyone is different, I would say just tell the truth. Let the chips fall where they may.
