Best Amusement Parks Water Parks Zoo Safari In The Us And Uk

What 3 Disney World Parks are the best to take a 5 year old?

Since you are taking a 5 year old, don't even consider skipping the Magic Kingdom. In my opinion, that is where the Disney magic lives. On a cool morning you take the ferry boat from the Ticket and Transportation Center across the lake to the Magic Kingdom. The castle gets closer and the excitement builds. You get through the turnstiles and wait for the opening ceremony. The train pulls into the station and an assortment of Disney Characters get off to welcome you to the Magic Kingdom. Then they open the gates and you walk right down Main Street USA. Smell the cookies baking. See the castle in the distance. It is really wonderful.

Note that you do need to have a plan when you get there. If you spend 30 or 40 minutes milling around on main street you will get a bad start. Just know what you want to do first and stroll over to that attraction. No need to run. Just know where you are going, and go there.

Animal kingdom is another good choice. Then again, they are all good choices.

For the third day I would probably pick Hollywood Studios. It will be less ride oriented, but there are lots of good shows to see. Since this park is oriented around the shows, make sure you pick up a schedule at the front of the park.

One thing to remember. Ice cream can cure almost anything bad that can happen there.

Have fun. Wish I was going. The Magic Kingdom with a 5 year old can be a really neat experience.

I need a cute name for my fake zoo.?

When traveling the United States how do you decide where to go? Do you pick the east or west coasts, for amusement parks, big cities, or tropical areas like Hawaii?

We have a simple system, but it took years to develop! For decades, I’ve been charting every halfway decent point of interest in America on a program called DeLorme. So with thousands of points of interest marked, we have a sinple system.Do we want sun, snow, or moderate temperatures?Do we want big city or rural? What few states have our kids not been to?Once we’ve picked a destination, we plot that on DeLorme and simply click on each point of interest on the drive from our home to the destination and back, taking a large circuitous route through many sites along the way. So what do we plot on DeLorme?Every time I hear about a great restaurant (in magazines, on the Food Network, from friends), I mark it on the DeLorme. If I read about some gorgeous view, or a highly recommended hotel, or a great museum, I mark it. Every historic location is marked (presidential birthplaces, epic battles, hidden missiles in cornfields pointed at Russia during the Cold War, the beginning of the first Highway, etc.). The endpoints of the longest roads are plotted, as are the longest tunnels and bridges, and definitely every national park, monument, memorial, and forest! Even quirky points of interest are added, like abandoned Centralia, Pennsylvania, or abandoned amusement parks, highways, interstates, and tunnels, places where things were invented, geographic centers, epicenters of the 10 deadliest earthquakes in America, the most rural spot in the country, the busiest intersections, infamous accident sites, the exact midpoints of every interstate, and on and on.I have so many points of interest plotted, you can’t drive more than 30 minutes even in North Dakota or Wyoming without seeing something that captivates the entire family.

What's the best funfair pleasure park in the UK?

During a family holiday in Cornwall (down in south west England) earlier this month we spent a day at the Flambards Amusement Park (also known as the Flambards Experience) near Helston. Our day at Flambards turned out to be the most enjoyable day we have spent at an amusement park, mainly for two reasons. The main reason was that this park contained something for everybody. There were big thrilling rides such as Sky-Force (shown above), Skyraker and Thunderbolt, as well as the standard rides such as a roller coaster, a log flume, and go karting (the latter often not being found at amusement parks like this). Also there are smaller and more gentle rides for younger children. The park also features a very interesting indoor museum containing a variety of exhibits, ranging from a Victorian village (shown below), "Britain in the Blitz" and other exhibits on World War Two, as well as "Pioneers of Flight" and the Concorde, and a collection of vintage motorcycles. The other reason why we especially enjoyed Flambards was that unlike some other amusement parks we have visited it was not crowded at all, and there were hardly any queues or waiting for any of the rides, so that we were able to complete all of the rides, visit all of the attractions and do whatever we wanted to do, with time to spare, all in one visit. This was in such contrast to a place like Chessington World of Adventures which we visited about three years ago, and where we queued for almost two and a half hours to go on one ride !

How far from San Diego Sea World to San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park?

The Zoo and Sea World are no longer than 15 minutes apart maybe less. The Wild Animal Park is maybe 30-45 give or take from Sea World..I don't care too much for The Wild Animal Park, but I absolutely LOVE Se World..so much fun!! The Zoo is great too...if you like a good workout :) lots of hills. I go to Sea World at least 3 times a year..so much to do!! Have fun!!

What is better Bush Gardens ( Williamsburg) or Dolly wood?

Although both parks have good ride, it really depends what your looking for. Busch Gardens is beautiful and has 3 really awesome rides as well as two good ride, where dollywood has 2 really good roller coasters. Dollywood is more of a country theme and Busch gardens is Europe themed. Plus Busch gardens has great shows and great theming! I prefer Busch

Which is better? dorney park or six flags?

I would say that Six Flags Great Adventure is more popular because they have more well-known rollercoasters. I guess it depends on your taste to determine which one is better - Six Flags (I am assuming you are speaking of Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, and not Six Flags America or New England) has animal shows, Dorney has one musical show (I think just one...that's all I saw last time I was there)...there are also viewing areas for some animals at Six Flags. Six Flags has more (and better) rollercoasters, although I do like Dorney's Talon rollercoaster a lot - one thing that sucks at Six Flags is that they lack in flat rides (non-coaster rides), Dorney has a good selection of flat rides. Dorney also has an attached waterpark that you do not have to pay an extra fee to go into, so that's a plus for some people...although there is a waterpark near the Six Flags in New Jersey, you actually have to exit Six Flags Great Adventure and physically go across the parking area/street to Hurricane Harbor and pay another admissions fee - so it's not as convenient. I would say they both get the same amount of crowds (from my experience, I had been to both numerous times)

So I would say:
Six Flags = Rollercoasters, animals/shows
Dorney Park = Flat rides, waterpark included and attached to park

So I would say Six Flags is a little more popular. Which one is better?...it depends on what type of rides you are looking for.

Best time of day to visit zoo..when animals are active?

Best times to go to the zoos are in the mornings and early
evening. Most animals are usually up & active in the mornings.
They are feed early and exercised early. They tend to be
sleepy or fall asleep around noon or 1:00 and get a second
wind around 3:00-4:00 o'clock. Other animals are nocturnal
(sleep all day and up all night). You have a better chance
of seeing these animals awake the later part of the day.
(Or do an overnight a the zoo. A lot of zoos offer them
for groups).

What can A pregnant woman do at busch Gardens?

I went to Busch Gardens when I was 6 months pregnant, and still had a lot of fun. Are you guys going for the Bud and Bar BQ? you said next weekend and Miranda Lambert is playing the fest. starts at 11:30 am, and the concert is at 4pm on the 22nd. You could go enjoy the food and the concert if your going that exact day. I'm a tampa res. so I go all the time, Jungala is really cool its got a lot of close action to the tigers, its a must see. Just take your time and enjoy the animals, go see some shows, and maybe do a mid-way game or two while everyone is on the Montu :)
