i haven't done research on this, but my first thought is " any of the cities in Alaska." Truthfully, i know NOTHING about the rent prices, i expect the job market is stable, but females are very safe, very appreciated there. i was in Juneau for a 2 week vacation; you can't believe how many times i didn't have to pay - for coffee, whatever - and i promise, i was offering nothing in trade or barter. Nor was i implying that i was offering anything. Why not try a vacation there to see what i am talking about? That way you could make an informed decision. Of course, it will help if you enjoy winter sports. No, I'm not with the tourist bureau.

Best places in the south for a young single man to settle down for a hot, good woman and a decent job?
I am a 27 year old former texan considering a move back down south. I love texas, but i am not certain that is where i want to end up. I am considering Charlotte NC, as well as any other place in the south that doesn't have a terrible job market. I don't have a college degree, so i would need to find a decent job that would pay enough to support a semi comfortable living and to pay for college so i can get a job where i can actually buy property and live outside the city, which is where i assume i would have to go to find a job. What states/cities in the south do you think are the best? Especially for single men looking for a job? I am looking to settle down, the next place i end up is where i want to call home for the rest of my life.
