Best drugstore bronzer on asian skintone?

Hi there. I actually have a similar skin tone to yours; a yellow/olivey color. Here are your color options: If you have olive undertones, look for shades of soft copper, bronze, brownish-pink, or sheer amber. For yellow undertones, go with tan, gold, soft coral, or shimmery peach (more for blush). Ryan is correct, you want to avoid shimmer in your bronzer, but only if you are using it as a contour. If you are dusting a bit on the apples of your cheeks as blush, a bit of shimmer in my opinion is just fine. Shimmer reflects light, therefore it makes the parts of your skin that you apply it to stand out. When you contour, you want your skin to “recede” away from you, this technique helps your face look more sculpted. Hope this helps in the search for your bronzer. At the moment, I am using Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Medium 2. It is a bit pricey but blends amazing and goes on very smooth.

Side note: I have dry skin, so some bronzers may look differently on you then they do me. Always keep in mind everyone’s skin type is different. Good luck on your hunt!

Is it really difficult to find cosmetics for brown skin type?

Depends.Exactly what do you define as brown? There are many shades of brown from a light beige to a deep ebony.Generally if you're around medium, medium dark or dark then there are a good amount of brands who have colors.if you mean deep dark, then it can be a real challenge. When it comes to drugstore makeup it may be even hard if you have a dark complexion let alone deep dark. Generally higher end stuff has colors for dark complexions in general. The only issue I've seen is undertones being an issue. A decent amount of brands don't seem to understand undertones for anyone who is medium or deeper.im personally in the medium range. Generally I'm right in the middle yet colors are either too beige(make me look gray) too pink or too orange. I actually have a yellow-green undertone and most “yellow” foundations are actually golden (yellow with a tad bit of pink) so my neck, chest and shoulders makes the pink in the foundation very noticeable due to the green naturally present in my skin. There are brands specifically for women of color which start around my skin tone an then go quite deep colored. Iman is a pretty good brand. I'm about the lightest shade “sand 3,” I believe but none of the newer foundations offer this shade. I think only one or two foundations from her brand has sand 3 available, it is just a nice yellow toned color that isn't peach so it works pretty good since it doesn't make me look pink. Sand 4 is darker and peach. So, now that they start at “sand 4” I basically come across the same issue with other brands.I believe the “"queen collection” from cover girl offers all or at least most of the cover girl foundations but the colors start at medium and go down to a deep ebony and tend to offer better undertones for WOC. I've been wanting to try out the lightest shade to see how it matches but I haven't had the best luck with cover girl foundation formulations anyway.Overall, I just stick to higher ends stuff.MAC, RCMA, MUFE, Kryolan and Bobbi Brown are all WOC friendly whether you're west asian(Arab, Iranian etc), south asian(Indian, Pakistani etc) African American, Caribbean, Southeast Asian, Latina, Native American etc

What is your go-to face palette with highlighters, blush, bronzer?

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Smoky. It has 2 blushes as well as highlight and contour-bronzer.INSTANT LOOK IN A PALETTEThis is amazing all 4 of the Instant Look palettes are great (I have all 4). If you break it down it is affordable. You are getting 3 eyeshadows (used 1 as eyeliner), 2 blushes, highlighter and brontour (bronzer/contour). Okay, makeup is expensive.  this is my HG (Holy Grail).

Can you recommend any good makeup for pale Irish skin?

Not really.Having pale Irish skin myself, I automatically bought the lightest shade of foundation - usually called Porcelain, Ivory or 001. It was always a fecking disaster and made me look haggard and sick - so much so that I did not generally wear foundation at all.Being blonde, I also made the mistake of buying brown or blue mascara. Net result: I looked like a White Walker.Me, all gussied up for a night on the tiles circa 1987.So, not long after I got my first proper job, I went to a Clinique counter in my local Boots to get properly sorted out with suitable professional makeup, rather than the stuff I had which was picked up in pound shops. To my amazement, the consultant picked out NOT a 001-Porcelain-Ivory foundation, but a 003 (day) and a 004 (partying), on the Vanilla-Biscuit-Buff-Medium spectrum. I queried, and she told me that, pale as I was, I was a yellow pale, not a pink pale, so I needed a warmer, deeper foundation. She also laughed when I mentioned brown mascara, and handed me a jet-black: my warmer complexion needed it.Go to a beautician. Go at least once a year. Get advice for work, for going out, for winter and for summer.(and us Irish come in many shades, not just pale. Just sayin’)
