(dont do this is u have oily skin) 6. ALWAYS MOISTURIZE 7. NO MASCARA (unless clear), NO EYELINER, NO LIPGLOSS - obey the rules, these are too noticeable. 8. Curl your lashes if you must 9. Powder foundation is less noticeable 10. Use lip balm to give it a bit of shine (tell your teacher lip balm is not makeup and you get chapped lips!)

Yes, we know that you are not required to have a license to work as a makeup artist in most of the states but if you have a certificate showing that you have finished online makeup course and it will be of a well known school you will be treated as a more reliable makeup artist and you will be more likely hired!You can say that you can learn everything from youtube. Yes, probably. But it will take you twice or three times more time to learn everything. And you will have to find girls showing you same techniques on different skin tones, eye shapes, etc… so that you are knowledgable of doing makeup on different people.While in makeup school all basics for different skin tones and eye shapes were already collected for you by makeup artists who worked in the industry for quite a while and have a lot of experience working with different people, so you will just sit and learn without necessity to go and look somewhere else. Also there is always a teacher ready to answer all your questions, to help you with some topics .You are also flexible with makeup school (I’m talking about online makeup school) and you can manage your time as you can watch the tutorials, practice and pass tests when you have time for it meaning you can work while take online makeup course at the same time!The big benefit of a makeup school is that they usually provide you with makeup kit that you will be able to practice makeup with. She is very easy going, patient, understanding and does a lot of one on one with her students. She is very professional, the quality of teaching is very precise and easy to grasp and she is constantly involved with her students and the class. She is very honest about the way she teaches - in other words, she will correct you when you are doing something wrong, but never in a negative way. She is very positive and always re-enforces the work the students do. She doesn't favor any of her students because one may be better than the other.
