Best Thing To See Or Do St Thomas Usvi

I will be eloping in St. Thomas, USVI. What is the beach with the bluest and clearest water?

St Thomas and St John are both very tiny island that are quite close to each other. Hence all the beaches are equally blue and clear. If you are eloping on a beach then I have to suggest Trunk Bay St John or Megans Bay St Thomas. Do not get married on a day when the cruise ships are in (you can find this info out from the VI port authority) or a holiday weekend or the beaches will be crowded.

What are the best things to do in St. Paul?

Tour our newly restored capitol building.Go to the Minnesota History Center to learn our state’s history and maybe see a play!Tour the St. Paul Cathedral.Go spend some time at the science museum.Go watch the Saints play baseball at the beautiful CHS Field.Go to Allianz field to see a soccer match (brand new stadium).Go to Xcel Energy Center to see the Minnesota Wild play hockey!Tour the James J. Hill house to see how the rich lived over a hundred years ago!Go to the Ordway Center to see a play or concert.Go to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.Hear live music at the Turf Club, Palace Theatre, and various other bars and night spots. I realize that the sports venues are seasonal and almost everything else has an admission charge. Some free things involve walking Summit Avenue to see all the beautiful old homes or visiting the Grand Avenue shopping and restaurant district. St. Paul also has some parks and walking areas by the Mississippi River. I have touched on just a few things to do in the Capitol City. Some people think St. Paul is dull and dead at night, this is no longer true! I live in Minneapolis but I am thankful for the wonderful twin next door!

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands?

It is safe in the daytime but not a place to venture out alone at night. The island is remarkably clean compared to other islands. Scooters can be rented in Charlotte Amalie. Driving is on the left side. Look into renting a private villa. You have your own house and private pool. Hit the beaches, take a ferry ride to St. John and snorkel there, shop in Charlotte Amalie.

St. Thomas - US Virgin Island vs. Maui?

Been to both, for your honeymoon go to Hawaii. Maui is beautiful and there are tons of things to do there. Maui is a big island and there is much to see. I live in Chicago and its a much shorter ride to the Caribbean...this can be done using less vacation time and there are always deals from here.
If you had said St John or Maui my answer would have been different tho. St John is my favorite place on earth!!! St Thomas...not so much!

Is there a Starbucks on St. Thomas?

I never saw one when I was there last year. Note that the Carribean has some of the best coffee in the world, if you go to the right place. That's because they import almost everything in St. Thomas; I imagine they import coffee beans straight from Columbia, or South America. It's kinda a supply/demand issue. Most people from USA don't go to St. Thomas because they are poor. They go because they have at least some money. Realize however, that many native St. Thomas are poor. Indeed the majority are. However there are some VERY wealthy people living on that island too (most come from other countries than St. Thomas. So I guess it comes down to supply and demand. You see, money is the bottom line everywhere in the world. If there's a profit to be made, most cultures will choose that path. Sorry, I don't have any more details to give you than that I never saw one. PS; most people who go to St. Thomas DON'T go to St. Thomas for coffee...they go to have nice vacation. And THAT, St. Thomas can provide. Depends on whether you do a "cruise", that's the "cheap" way to go. But they have some nice hotels, and I can guarentee you they have good cofffe.
Frankly, if you're worried about getting a Starbucks coffe, if you visit St Thomas, I think you might be going for the wrong reason. That said, realize that St Thomas is an island well worth going to, with or without "Starbucks". I imagine you're going for one of those reasons. Go, and enjoy yourself. Please be sure to put the Starbucks as the lowest of your list of priorities. Concentrate on the "better" thins St Thomas has to offer. If you pick the right place to go, you won't be disappointed. I'd personaly, and highly, reommend going to The Frenchman's Reef Marriot and Morningstar Resort. PS; NO, I don't work in any way for that company. I just think it's a resort well worthing going too. Check it out on Trip Advisory, they have excellent reviews and photos, and the service and ambience is just about perfect. Check it out

U.S. Virgin Islands? St. Thomas?

Wow, that's a lot of questions! LOL! Ok, I'll do my best to answer them:

1. US Passports are not required to enter the US Virgin Islands or to return to the United States from the US Virgin Islands. Drivers licenses and birth certificates will suffice.

2. The Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and Bolongo Bay Beach Resort are all inclusive.

3. While I've seen dolphins swimming around here on a few occasions there's no service that specializes in arranging dolphin swims. You'll just have to get lucky. :)

4. I live on St. Thomas so I'm a bit biased in terms of the experience so I've posted a couple links below so you can see it for yourself.

Which is better to visit - St. Thomas or St. Croix?

I consider myself lucky to have visited St Croix island last year and would personally recommend you the same. Not only the beaches but there are many other attractions that make that part of the world awesome for visitors. Below are some images I would like to share with you.(Salt River Bay National Park)( St. Croix Beaches)Some of the most important attraction would be the wonderful Victorian era architecture. You will also find the Salt River Bay National Historic Park in which you would find the footprints of the Columbus Expedition. Mangrove forests and environment to support endangered species are also given a lot of attention. Apart from these, you can also enjoy water sports and scuba diving as the weather is very warm throughout the year. What are some good tips or advice for traveling to St. Thomas or the Virgin Islands in general?

Please be aware of being a visitor and how many people we see in a day. Courtesy makes a difference in how caribbeaners react to others. Please make note of how to say good morning, good afternoon, and good night while also knowing that life on an island is more difficult than people would expect.St Thomas is a hub of activity which is I wanted toward tourists, but we have financially successful investment business models alongside innovative people who operate a variety of businesses slanted toward islanders.St John is peaceful but doesn't have a lot of action. People are pleasant and very courteous and loving. It's a slower way of life since the population Remains small in contrast to St Thomas. There are days in St Thomas where the population of visitors are higher than the number of inhabitants. You can guess that might be frustrating and causing gridlock and long lines for even so.ething as simple as going to the supermarkets. If you're going to visit the USVI, plan and get to know where the locals go to enjoy beaches and food…you'll appreciate the experience and potentially become an Islander just as I did!
