Best Way To Prop A Truck Cab Up

WHAT MAKES TRUCK SHAKE WHEN YOU GET ABOUT 45MILES A HOUR.?

Could be several things

Bent rim.
Tire out of balance.
Tire out of round
Tread coming loose from tire.
Air bubble between tread and carcass.
Low air pressure in tire.
Loose lug nuts.

Prop & pitch - Confused?

23 pitch is WAY too much for trying to do towing or heavy boat load applications.

My experienced advice with standard sterndrives 120 to 200HP is to start at a 19 pitch prop, see how that goes. True, you might not be able to go 50 MPH on a smooth clear lake with a 19 pitch prop, however you also won't be shouting curses because you can't tow skiers or wakeboarders properly.

I use a 19 pitch prop for my Mercrusier 140 (3.0L), and its the perfect balance of power and top speed. My boat won't go 45 mph or faster, but I don't need it to. Towing for skiers and wakeboarders is what matters and it matches my recommended WOT RPMs.

I seriously doubt you will need a 21 pitch prop, but if RPM's attempt to fastly exceed recommended WOT RPM, then you might need switch to a 21 pitch prop. The engine should at WOT (max throttle) should peak at the recommended RPM's, a prop should not cause it to go below WOT RPMs significantly or dramatically over it.

17 pitch prop is definitely NOT recommended for sterndrives, especially since sterndrives tend to put out more power per prop revolution than outboards. You will most likely overrev your engine and also lose significant top speed.

Outboards tend to compensate by slightly rotating the prop faster, thus an outboard would probably use a 17 pitch more likely.

Opening the hood on Dodge Caliber.?

just helped a lady with a simular problem she closed the hood with the prop rod across the lock after i got it opened it wouldnt lock i found out the lock was bent when i bent it back it was fine but doubht it would stay ok the meal is too weak to withstand alot of use yours sounds like to secodary lock ( the one you push over ) is bent back a bit it only takes to out by 1/4 inch or less to be out enough not to work

What is the difference between double cab PreRunner tacoma and a regular double cab tacoma?

The name "pre-runner" originates in the off road racing sport where "civilian" vehicles were allowed to "pre-run" the Baja 500/1000 off road course before the actual racers. These could be motorcycles, dune buggies or pick up trucks. 4WD is not required to negotiate the course - in fact is detrimental due to the weight on the front suspension. To reduce the front end weight vehicles did not have front drive axles, prop shafts, transfer cases etc. There are quite a few air-born jumps on the course and the front ends would bury themselves. So - PreRunners are 2WD. Toyota borrowed the term.
