No. Drake is more a singer than a writer. I'd say Nas, Common or Talib Kweli are closer to GOAT.
Drake or j.cole whos better?
I agree, J. Cole is so much better lyrically. It's just that he won't be as commercially successful as Drake for the simple fact that he might be a bit too lyrical for some rap fans. Most people who listen now aren't really looking for good lyricists, they just want simple lyrics, something catchy, nice beat...etc. Drake is okay though.
