Best GPU With AMD A8-3870K?
I recently just upgraded my CPU to what is stated above running at 3.3ghz. I want a great GPU to pair up with it to run BF3 consistently at 60fps. I currently have it paired with my 660ti but I believe it is being bottlenecked. So are there any GOOD 7000 series AMD GPU's that would work well and not be bottlenecked by my CPU? I don't want hybrid crossfire. I only have one PCIe x16 slot so no SLI or CrossfireX. Much appreciated!
Bf3 gpu and cpu massive lag spikes !!?
okay im running bf3 on a laptop i have 4g of ram a nvidia gt525m <- ocd to core 780mhz shader 1560mhz using msi after burner it doesnt overheat i have a cooler i have an i72630qm 2.0ghz turbo boost to 2.9ghz quad core and 8 threads. so whats happening when i join a bf3 multiplayer game i usually run med to high setting 35 fps + and after round about 2 games im getting lag spikes when i look around or aim the lag spikes seem to be both by my cpu and gpu the spike at the same time i lowered my settings i was at 50fps and still spikes any help. this is only happening in multiplayer i run singplayer fine no spikes.

Is Battlefield 3 worth buying on Xbox 1? (I haven't brought it before)
Hm, well I’ll tell you what. I have insanely fond memories of BF3, and personally I like the mechanics of the game more. However, I will say that after playing it for the first time in years on the XB1, its graphics are underwhelming and the size of the matches are small relative to the 64 player matches of BF4 and BF1.So, if you’re looking for outstanding, brutal BF3 matches, then get it on PC. If you just want battlefield on the xbox, get BF4. But there’s no point of BF3 on the XB1.

Will a FX-8350 be a good upgrade from a FX-6200?
server load in the game wont really be handled by your CPU and wont make much of a difference (yes more ppl on screen etc etc) A 7950 is not really held back much by an FX-6200 at nice high clocks. A nice 80$ CPU cooler would be much more justified than a 200$ CPU that wont make much of a difference (for this specific case in your game, as yes the 8350 is a much superior CPU). I'm including a link to a discussion where many people voice their opinion and benchmarks on the fact a 6200 over 4.4GHz shouldn't bottleneck any single slot card except 7970,660ti,680,titan... *********EDIT******* The issue you described is related to the GPU's BIOS and the drivers running on the machine. If the card shows as under 100% use that is NOT a bottleneck, in a case wher eit would be a bottleneck the GPU would show as running 100% but the lag would still be there. if youre already running at 4.4, yep the 8350 is your next CPU upgrade, however I would be taking a look at other drivers, and tinkering with power saving before investing in hardware, as yours is supposed to do a great job, just a little bug.
