What happens if I had 10 failed attempts to unlock my blackberry 9730?
I locked myself out of my blackberry bold. Cant remember the password for the life of me! i don't mind losing all the information because i backed up my contacts, I read this will set my phone back to factory. My concern is not being able to use the phone at all again. Will this just reset the phone or will it burn to pieces and never work again! help!
Anyone else had a call from T-Mobile to "reward" existing customers with cheap blackberry or android contract?
I've just had a call apparently from T-Mobile offering me a "reward" because of the way I have ran my account over the years. They are offering a second contract for myself or "anyone I might know who is looking for a new contract". They are offering a free handset (android or Blackberry 9300) for £10 a month with 100 any network minutes, free voicemail, 500 texts, unlimited internet and BBM and one free booster (eg unlimited texts, unlimited T-mobile calls, unlimited landline calls, etc). The contract is for 24 months. Has anyone else had this? Sounds really good to me as my partner's contract is due to expire and he desperately wants a new phone, and this deal is a lot cheaper than taking out a normal new contract on a Blackberry. The contract must be in my name, as I am the one being "rewarded for the way I have ran my account" but that's not a problem as apparently I can transfer it over to him after. So has anyone else had this? Do you think this is a scam? I have told the guy to call back in half an hour but how do I check it is definitely T-Mobile calling me and not some scam company who have got hold of my phone number??

Switch on your text message delivery reports. Send a txt to the number in question. You'll know within seconds. If it says pending,the phone is switched off or out of coverage. If it says delivered,the phone is receiving your calls and text messages but notifications are switched off on the phone your calling and texting to. A Simple way around you being blocked by the phone your calling is to withhold your number before calling it. The other person's phone won't recognize a withheld number and let you through,notifying the other person they got a call. Try it. It will definitely work.
