Title and Character Name help!?!?
The story is about 3 best friends who are like the weirdest trio ever. It contains two boy and one girl. The girl is a nerdy perfectionist who is a great gymnastics and dancer, but quits dancing after her Dad leaves at the begining on the book. One of the boys is really popular and star of the football team. He has a crush on a kinda shy cheerleader and the majority of the book the friends are trying to help him get the girl. The other boy is a total bad boy and player. He has a lot of short relationships during the book to cover how he feels for his girl best friend (the one in the trio). He also gambles a lot and has a minor drinking problem. The jock trio member eventually pushes him with the nerdy trio member. A title inspires more ideas for the story so if you could help with that! and I need name help. The nerdy girl has really wild curly/wavy red hair. It's darker in spots and kinda lite in others. Her eyes are the color of honey and framed by long dark eyelashes. She's 5'5 and lean muscled. She has contacts but has back up glasses. She's very corny and snorts in the middle of her laugh. She is also a perfectionist. The cheerleader has straight dirty blonde hair and dark green eyes. She is 5'7 and kinda skinny. She is shy around guys and clumsy. She likes Jared (Jock), but is POSTIVE he only flirts with her because he's a player like his bad boy best friend. The bad boy has jet black and chocolate brown hair. His eyes are sapphire blue. He's really tall and muscled. He wears muscle shirts, leather jackets, and jeans a lot. He's a major flirt and player. He drives a motorcycle that he often refers to as his baby. Those three need names! (First (middle if you wants) and last please!) The jocks name is Jared Walter O'Ryan! So don't forget title name help! Thank you!

What is another name for title character?
Hey, I'm looking for a word for when a character's name is in the title of a novel. I know it's 'title character', but is there another term?
Did you name your child after a character in a book and were you inspired by the character's name or the character's ethics or their personality?
No, but…I am the one actually named after a book character myself. The title character from the wonderful Russian book “The Adventures of Dennis” by Viktor Dragunsky[1]. Actually, the more exact translation of the book's title, “Денискины рассказы”, would be “The Stories of Dennis”, but whatever…The book is a collection of short stories, told by the title character - a little boy named Deniska (the Russian diminutive for ‘Dennis’). The boy is absolutely charming, sweet, naive and wise at the same time. The book was an immediate and hysterical hit in the USSR back in the '60s, and still remains a great reading. So, from what I was able to learn, my parents were inspired by the character's personality. Maybe by his ethics too - little Dennis in the stories usually made the right choice, often more of a moral and not the smartass one.How do I feel about that? Nothing special, just a peculiar family story.Footnotes[1] The Adventures of Dennis - Wikipedia
Title ideas for a book about a psychotic life and character names?
Basic description of the book is just an institution for the mental and criminally insane is being run by a warden, who is still yet to be named, who has unintentionally killed a young girl in a drunk-driving hit and run accident. There are two patients, female and male who are 'in love', who have been accused of murder, and begin to go deeper down the road of punishment, or as they call it, treatment. i.e sterilization, shock therapy, etc. The two begin seeing a psychologist and he tells the female he'll help her somehow escape. But while this is happening, he accuses the man of murders that the psychologist had done, but no one knew about it, also planning the female's death. The man being oblivious of the situation, actually began to think he murdered his wife and a few other females. The man was told to say it on tape. The psychologist gets the man to take the blame of the murders he done, without the man knowing he actually done it, while also sneaking the women out of the institute. The psychologist then leaves and says he's never worked there and leaves the man in terms of being punished for his admitted acts. Soon after that, he's already began his plan on murdering his next victim - the female patient. Few chapters pass and she manages to escape. Returning back to the asylum. Things turn for the worst. The warden soon becomes a patient for unexplainable reasons, which shall remain unspoken, because that'll be a surprise for all readers, and patients still wonders why. Skipping all of that, in the end, the two patients that were accused of murder are let free because they were finally proved innocent and begin to start a family. The psychologist dies, due to gun to his head. The warden becomes more insane, and soon dies due to suicide. I don't know if that's good, but yeah. Need character names for: The Warden - ... The Psychologist - ... The female patient - .... And a few random patient names - ... I have figured out the male name, so no need to worry about that. I also need a title. :) please leave some suggestions. Thank you! x
Is there a word for when a character has the same name as the title of the book?
For example, in Macbeth, by Shakespeare, the main character's name is Macbeth. I think I've heard of this word before but I can't seem to remember it...
Do you italicize in an essay the names of characters from a book?
Hi Alyssa. No, you don't usually put character names in italics. In fact, the guidelines for MLA format say: "Use italics throughout your essay for the titles of longer works and, only when absolutely necessary to provide emphasis." For instance, if you are introducing an unusual word (say a technical term) for the first time, you might italicise it the first time it is used (although only the first time).

I've got a LOT of names. I have a whole list of them that I use for my characters, so feel free to email or im me for more or different ones if you need them.
