Signal strength is subjective, there is no clear comparison that is feasible. For example a 3-bar signal on an ASUS Zenfone 2 laser is equivalent to a 2-bar signal on a Samsung. Phones like Motorola and MI feature continuous signal gauge instead of bars. So it is really difficult to measure.However, in my limited experience what I have found is, a Samsung phone or iPhone is usually way more sensitive than a Coolpad or a RedMi phone. Motorola, Samsung, Sony, LG, ASUS and Apple iPhones have brilliant signal reception. Rest work well unless you live in a very inaccessible location. However, lenovo phones are the worst in this respect, most of them have very bad signal reception even in well connected areas. So avoid Lenovo devices at all cost.PS: I know Lenovo currently owns Motorola, but still Lenovo branded phones have weaker signal reception in general. Moto devices still have a good reception.
