Bret Hart Or Sting Who Will Go Down As The Better Wrestler/performer

Is John Cena the most overrated wrestler in pro-wrestling history?

For the fans tired of the PG13 era - Yes. In history - No! Cena/Supercena is actually a much better wrestler than a lot of other wrestlers. ALberto Del Rio even said that he took commands from Cena during their fights because he respected Cena's knowledge of the art form. He might have 5 moves of doom, but see his recent matches with Punk, Bryan and Rollins and you will see he has so much more than that. The few most over-rated wrestlers in the history of WWE are -  1. Hulk Hogan - The undisputed king of Over-rated performers. Come on, name one match that had pure wrestling ability showcased. He is so slow, so mediocre in ring and so bad at wrestling, I sometime wonder why performers like Ricky Steamboat never got ahead of him. Then again WWE would be nowhere without him. 2. The Ultimate warrior - Pretty mediocre in the ring. He made that up in intensity. No good moves in the arsenal. And ending the match with a SPLASH!. Who cant kick out of that? 3. Kevin Nash - Big daddy cool diesel comes next in on the list. Pathetic. Quad tear jokes! - you get the point. 4. Goldberg - Rated as being dangerous to work with. The man has no move set at all. See his match with William regal and you will know what I mean. 5. The Rock - The great one!. Sad to see him in this list. Lets be honest - He wasn't a great wrestler. He was a great entertainer though. The best , any day, anytime. But not a good enough wrestler. 6. John Cena - obvious 7. Ryback, Roman Reigns and others - The list shall continue

Would You Consider, Ric Flair, The "God" Of Wrestling, & Shawn Michaels, The "Jesus"?

Arguably, the two best mainstream wrestlers, of all time. Would you consider Flair as the God of wrestling, and Shawn Michaels, the Jesus. Even if you do not believe in God, and what not. You know the point I am trying to get across. They are both two of the greatest performers, but should they be considered "above" anyone else?

Who else think Bret Hart's WCW career was really underrated and underappreciated+BQ?

During Bret's time in WCW, WCW was a royal stinking mess! And that's coming from a WCW fan from 1978 (me).

I would have to wiki it to know the exact lengths of Bret's title reigns in WCW, but I'm sure they were like everybody else's in WCW. WCW was throwing championships around like a big game of catch. Guys won and lost championships at random and quite frequently (sometimes in the same show!). The storylines were random, made up on the spot, and rarely made any kind of sense (I'm not laying the blame for this on Vince Russo; he just inherited this mess and didn't change what was already being done).

Eric Bischoff only wanted Bret because it meant Vince McMahon wouldn't have him. Bischoff didn't know what to do with him or how to market him. Hogan and Nash damn sure didn't want him there stealing their spotlight (they took Sting off TV and neutered Flair to keep those two from stealing their spotlight). Bret came into a company that made up their stuff on a daily basis; there were no long-range plans for anybody (except for Hogan and Nash); and everybody was sacrificed to make the nWo (specifically Hogan and Nash) look "cool".

Going to WCW was a career mistake for Bret; the company didn't know what to do with him and the two calling the shots (Hogan and Nash) were not about to put Bret into anything that might put him in a spotlight bigger than Hogan's and Nash's. Bret should have gone to Japan.

I haven't seen the WWE's list of Top 50 WCW Superstars but I know I would disagree with it. Bret is damn lucky he's on the list at all. He joined the company at it's worst (business-wise) and was "misused" as much as any pro wrestler I've ever seen "misused". There wasn't much to "appreciate" about his time in WCW. He did about as well as anybody did coming into WCW at that time.

BQ: If I made that list, Bret wouldn't be on it. WCW had a LONG history and there are more than 50 WCW wrestlers who had better WCW careers than Bret did.

BQ2: No, they do that to limit their opponent's ability to breathe. If you can't get enough air in your lungs, you get weak and are easier to beat.
