His major adviser is marshal Jean Lannes, who is a personal friend and close adviser of Napoleon. Unfortunately, he died before the invasion of Russia in battle (the fourth collision, during a battle between French and Russia) His Official foreign adviser was Talleyrand, who later betrayed Napoleon. During his campaign with rest of Europe after the his failure in Russia, his brother Joseph was his governing adviser in France and also the Regine at the time.
