Can A Company Snoop In Other People

Why are people in the Midwest so nosy and phony?

midwestern niceness" isn't a thing because honestly they're just incredibly fake, passive aggressive, and nosy. theyre always trying to snoop in people's lives because they can't mind their own god damn business and if worst comes to worse they can and will use it against you. the midwest is such a shithole and the people make it even more of one.

I know people can be like that everywhere but the Midwest is so much worse

Why do some people snoop around other people’s stuff? Is it a sign of insecurity?

Insecurity or being very spoiled as a child and having no impulse control or boundaries. Some parents nevr say “no” or teach their kids not to rifle through the homes of strangers when visiting, and that carries over into the kids adult lives.Sometimes kids grow up in big families where their siblings go through their stuff to the point that they think it is normal.Sometimes a very insecure significant other will basically spy on his or her partner because there is no confidence in the relationship. No concept of privacy.

Why do people snoop through your phone when they ask to use it?

Tim, I'm so glad you've asked this question!I'm unsure what compells people to take liberties with my cell phone. Especially, since I'm just being helpful by lending it to someone whose asked my permission to use it! There's only one real problem I've got personally when someone is inclines to treat my property like they own it, I do alot of writing on general. That includes texts, emails and of course QUORA herself.I used to have a memo section devoted to my hopeful Quora answers! Before I'd post I'd practice writing out a thoughtful response. But I've stopped doing that recently (as my work reflects).I'll level with you here, I couldn't hardly give a damn about the endless texts, voicemails and Facebook notifications that I receive on a daily basis on my phone. Let alone force myself to care enough to pry into another person's phone. In fact as long as I'm not forced to receive a recap, please go ahead and scrolling through mine. As long as I'm not reminded of any impending obligation or you don't convey the death threat my employer sent along, just make sure I remain oblivious. Not exactly difficult to keep me in the dark folks! And what's really awful is when they proceed to read out loud incoming texts,“Shelby, your gynocological appointment is on Tuesday at 1pm. And bring ten bucks for the possible pregnancy test.”Let's all remember to be more considerate in our phone sharing futures!

I caught a computer tech in my office snooping through my personal email. How should I handle this?

I'm going to point out the elephant in the room.  Why do you have personal email on your work computer, in your office?  If it is not your personal computer, as in your own property that you purchased with your own money... that means that a company technician actually has the right to look through anything on it.  Hell, you could come in tomorrow and find the computer has been wiped clean with a fresh install of Windows (or whatever OS you use there) and you can't say jack shit about it.Personal email and communications belongs on your personal equipment.  You should not be using the company email for personal communications.  You should not have the browser on the company computer save your passwords and such.  You should not have Outlook on the company computer set to get your personal email account. How should you handle this?  Stop using the company computer for personal uses.

How do you deal with a co-worker that loves to snoop?

We have this co-worker who is constantly peeping over her cubicle to check on what each of us is doing. She "fake prints" to the printer just to go around the cubicles and see what each of us is doing. Even when we are just working with someone from another department she will peep over to see what we are discussing. When we sometimes chat she will peep over and then try to act like she's upset about the printer not working properly to let it be known that she is checking up on us. She's taken to pretending she is just stretching sometimes so that she can stay up longer watching over us.

What is even more aggravating is that she can barely be considered our equal. She doesn't have a Bachelor's degree and is constantly asking stupid questions. The only reason why she even has this job is because she knows the boss because their kids went to the same schools together. She definitely has a superiority complex with us and she constantly tries to act like she is "supervising" us.

How do we deal with her without saying anything to the boss? It's such a childish act that we don't feel like bothering our boss because of her. Even if we do complain to the boss, we feel there won't be anything she will do because she's "friends" with her. Is there anything else we can do? Its almost a Catch 22 situation, PLEASE HELP

Seen the Orbit commercial with snoop dogg?

I think you have quite the obsession with commercials. Although, your questions are definitely not like others. So I don't mind. I like that commercial... I think I've only seen it once though.. So I don't remember the whole thing.

I do however own a shirt that says "G is for Gangsta" so I myself can identify with snoop, I often find myself telling other people exactly HOW to be gangsta.

Alright.. I lied.. I can't back that up. I mean, I do own the shirt, but mostly when I wear it.. people are amused, seeing as how I'm a very small, very Caucasian female. I'm okay with it though. But um. Yeah.

Why do some people look through other peoples medicine cabinet ?

Because people like to snoop around! They want to know your dirty little secrets.

Wanna make it backfire? Fill the medicine cabinet with marbles before a dinner party. Anyone who opens it, well, everyone will know. :)

Is it legal to record personal calls in India?

Recorded conversations are treated in different ways by the law depending on how the recording is obtained. Tape recordings of conversations have repeatedly been held to be admissible as evidence by courts. However, this does not automatically make telephone tapping and the recording of telephonic conversations legal.Telephone tapping is, of course, subject to its own laws:Section 5(2) of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, which grants the Government the power to order the interception of messages;Rule 419A of the Indian Telegraph Rules, 1951, which lays down the procedural requirements which must be followed for telephone tapping to be legal;Section 69 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which deals with the power to issue directions for interception or monitoring or decryption of any information through any computer resource;Information Technology (Directions for Interception or Monitoring or Decryption of Information) Rules, 2009.Under these laws, the tapping of telephones by third parties is generally illegal, unless the procedures mandated by law are followed. Pertinently, it is possible to interpret the law to mean that tapping would be illegal even is the person whose telephone is tapped consents to the tapping.Further, even in the case of 'consensual tapping' — which is, in all probability, illegal — privacy implications may arise. This is because when a telephone is tapped, the conversations of the person whose telephone is tapped with other people would be recorded, and those other people would presumably not have given their consent to being recorded. If, however, the tapping of a telephone was legal, privacy implications giving rise to liability would not be an issue. You can get more information from the source article: The Legality of Recording Telephonic Conversations

Comebacks for when someone says you have a big/long nose?

If she's a girl you can say :
Oh I bet it isn't longer than the list of your boyfriends
If he's a boy you can say :
I know right,I bet it's longer than you dick
Or you can say those two things to both of genders (so you mean that the girl has a dick and the boy is a homo(no offend))
Or stuff like this :p
