Can A Dentist Refuse To Fill My Tooth W/o Using Any Medication No Medication Due Do My Religious

How can I treat a tooth infection without seeing a dentist?

If your problem is a tooth abscess is caused by an infection where germs and bacteria getting collected around the gums near the tooth. This tooth infection causes sometimes unbearable toothache and swollen gums. There are good home remedies to combat tooth infection.

Can I refuse antibiotics for wisdom teeth removal?

You can refuse antibiotics. You can also refuse the pain meds too. Is this advisable? That’s the heart of the matter. The question I’d ask is this: Why do you want to forego antibiotics? Your answer to that question would go a long ways in formulating my answer.Since I do not know why you don’t want antibiotics, I’ll try to answer as best as I can.Antibiotics are not always prescribed for teeth removal. A healthy person with a normal immune system can likely recover quite well without complications after wisdom tooth removal. The mouth has a rich blood supply and therefore has a robust immune response to trauma as well. That said, I’d still prescribe caution in the following conditions:You are having all four wisdom teeth taken out at once. While some people can still have all four removed and not need antibiotics, oral surgeons often prescribe antibiotics to lessen their legal liability and because they were taught to prescribe to protect against infection. If any of your wisdom teeth requires bone to be cut to remove a tooth, then I’d consider antibiotics depending upon how much bone had to be removed. If you have any medical condition that in any way compromises your immune system, then I’d highly recommend antibiotics. Diabetes is a prime example. If you don’t have ready access to your dentist or oral surgeon after wisdom tooth removal, then I’d recommend you consider antibiotics. If you are over 60 years old, I’d recommend antibiotics. Older people don’t heal as fast as younger people and sometimes have a less robust immune systemI sometimes don’t give a full course of antibiotics after wisdom tooth removal. Instead of 7 days, I’ll prescribe 4–5 days. This helps ward off infection during the initial healing period and cuts down on hi bacteria disruption.I hope this helps in your descision making process.

Is BDS dental a good career option?

It is a good career option if you can put your 100% , if you have huge money in pockets, and 5–8 years to spend on learning !!I will tell you Indian scenario in private dental college. You have to attend CLG for 5 years. There is back system if you fail two exam and in final year,if u fail in one exam you will suffer 6 month back. In short, you have to spend 5–7 years in a dental CLG .You have to do clinic work + theory + patients. (You should be good at multitasking + handling stress)In private clg, BDS fees is 3 lacs per year.300000 * 5 = rs 15,00000 + books + dental material + project material ..Suppose u r staying in hostel in private clgIt will be above 70000rs on average. After passing out of CLG, you are lucky if you have parents in same profession otherwise you have to make really good contacts to learn under some clinician (private clg do not have enough facilities and patient are less in no ,, so skills are half taught in private dental college even after paying so much). You will be paid 5–7 k in a private clinic (fresher)..yes it is very lessMds will be 3 years long .. again prepare for neet PG … and go for counseling (4–8 seats per college) ….mds is not at all easy… needs dedication .forget social life.. After passing out… you will end up as consultant or opening up clinic because there is very less vacancy in hospital.Only BDS is nothing.Doing pg or mba or short term course will make you valuable in market. Too much competition in market. Lot of quacks in market. It is better to go abroad and do medical courses after 12. You will definitely earn very good .If you don't believe. Kindly Google “”petition by Indian dentist””Contact at least 4–5 people before entering any profession , they will clearly tell the scenario of that particular field and the challenges along with it !It is my opinion about BDS field, I m very sorry if anybody feels my answer is not matching their views about it !

Why are my kids being so rebellious?

We have always been a very fun filled church loving family. I have a 17 year old boy and a 16 year old girl. We built a cute modern 3000 square foot house in 1993 out on 8 acres in the country. We had lived there until in 2009 our church had moved to another spot in town and we decided to sell our house and move closer to the church. We now live in a new suburban neighborhood. It has nice clean modern houses and we thought it would be the perfect place. Our kids were 16 and 15 when we moved there.
They were always home schooled, but with the economy I had to start working which meant the kids would have to go to public school. My girl would be in 9th grade and my boy in 10th grade.
We always believed that girls should wear feminine dresses and skirts, which means no jeans. My daughter was teased her first week of high school for her clothes and she begged us to buy her jeans. My husband and I told her no exceptions you must wear dresses and skirts. She started making friends at school her second week and kept asking us if she could go to party's on the weekends. Me and my husband both said no to her.
One night my husband and I were asleep and then I heard a car with loud music drove up to our house and my daughter got out of the car. She was drunk! And wearing jeans! 2 big no nos in our family! She was grounded for 2 months.
My son who we make him wear his hair neat and combed to the side now refuses to comb it! He wants to die it black and he says that's what emo people do! I don't know what these "emo" people are that he is talking about, but it won't be going on in my house!
I go through all of my kids stuff every day when they are not home and yesterday I found 2 pairs of jeans under my daughters clothes in her dresser drawer! I brought this to her attention and she said she was holding them for a friend. I'm not stupid! Same with the bag of marijuana I found in my sons room. He said he was holding it for a friend!
Last week I went through my sons closet and I found this tall glass cylinder with a pipe hanging out of it. I don't know what that is, but I don't want it in my house! I have found porn magazines in my sons room and he is wanting to wear eyeliner, because once again he is saying that is what "emo" people wear. Define emo for me please?
And how can I get my kids to be the perfect little angels they were before?

I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. At my last appointment I was told I have 14 cavities, how did this happen?

For within 6 months, it’s either aggressive treatment planning if it is a different dentist you are seeing, or the dentist before is too conservative and left things untreated. Did the dentist explain the reasons for these teeth needing fillings using x-rays and photos? It’s a fine line between being aggressive and being negligent and different dentists may give different opinions about treatment. Most people will reasonably accept treatment if it is within their financial means when you take the time to educate them about their oral health condition. Visuals like intraoral photos and x-rays, as well as being able to explain to the patient with common sense logic helps get the message through. If you do not find the consultation with your dentist acceptable, then get a second opinion.Given the details of your question, I personally would get a second opinion if you indeed did receive regular 6 month exams and hygiene. I get where you’re coming from. When I went on maternity leave, a good friend of mine whom I’ve been caring for a number of years, stayed at that office and saw the principal dentist who told him he needed 13 fillings at his 6 months exam, yet he’s had many perfect check ups with me. Needless to say, he never went back. I still could not figure out how she was able to see 13 fillings, but I am pretty conservative and she is pretty aggressive. I actually never went back to work at that office, but never told the principal the real reason why.

What are some common misconceptions people have about dental treatment?

Based on this topic- I have done one survey and there were around 11 set of questions which were asked. The survey was done in a small district, preferably uneducated people, it included 3 religion- Hindu Muslim and Christian. To rule out if it is religious belief! But these few questions, here majority had such crazy beliefs. Some which I could recollect wereDo you think oral diseases has a role in systemic diseases? Answer - no.If any maxillary teeth is extracted- does it mean that you will lose your eyesight?Dental caries can be removed from ear? ( here lot of people said yes, they say that there are people near rural area who do that. Infact some claimed to have tremendous relief !)If maxillary teeth is erupted first, then it is apshagun or a sin. So the family members invite their uncle- Mama and He is asked to drink milk in the Silver bowl. In case if a child doesn't have a uncle then a uncle from the neighbours house is also accepted And then Fakir is called and he is given that silver bowl by doing this things become normal. When child's first teeth is exfoliated, that tooth is thrown on the terrace of a pregnant ladys house. ( sign of good luck)I will add more if I recollect more but these were some very weird and unexpectedly super misbeliefs
