Can Anyone Audition For Yg Entertainment

How to audition for YG entertainment?

I received an reply from YG ENTERTAINMENT. I applied for email audition, during the past few months,I sent 3 times to Yg and I waited every month but no reply too. Yesterday I sent to Yg again and sang few song (video) and on the other day, they replied me and asking me for filling up the application form, because I never fill in. Does this shows that Yg entertainment interest on me? Because the past few months I never fill in the application form too,and they never send a message telling me that I haven t fill in the form. But suddenly this time I sang a new song n sent them, on the second day they reply me asking for my PERSONAL INFORMATION (APPLICATION FORM that requires parents signature, approval, personal information, dreams, height, weight etc).I am now so nervous and does this mean that YG have interest in me? XD

How to audition for YG entertainment?

Okay, so i REALLY want to audition for YG but i'm not sure how to go about it?
1) I'm white - is that a problem?
2) I'm 18 - is that a problem?
3) I live in the UK and don't really have the money to get to korea just for an audition (if i get accepted then yeah but i can't take the risk having hardly any money)
4) I'm not really good at dancing - is that a problem?
5) I'm not able to speak korean but i think my pronunciation is pretty good
6) I'm 5ft6 (167cm) i don't know if height really matters?
7) i'm a little (only a little) overweight but i think i would be considered fat in korea (though i know i can lose the weight)
8) How much does YG base on looks because i think i'm pretty average

...i think that's about it, any extra info you can give me would be MUCH appreciated!!

Did anyone here audition for YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, NH Media etc..? (Singer, Korea)?

Hey :) No! That's a perfect age! A lot of trainees recommend to audition at the ages 13-18. 1) No, it doesn't matter if you have braces! 2) Yeah, it doesn't matter! Not a lot of singers are all tall! For an example: SNSD (Girls' Generation), Taeyeon, Sunny, they're both not the tallest people x] 3) Nope! If you noticed, a lot of singers wear contract lenses and sometimes glasses. 4)Yeah, if you're into R&B/Hip-Hop/Rap, YG is perfect for you. YG although is really hard to get in; they look at your talent like hard-core haha. But if you practice, I'm sure you can do it! Just think about each company and audition to the place that YOU think is right for you :) 5)Yes. But make sure your picture is not photoshopped (don't change the lighting, colo, etc. They will NOT accep it), it also can't be like sticker pictures. Just keep that in mind :) Good luck!

I want to ask about YG Entertainment Online Audition ^^ Can anyone help me pleasee..so confused..>

Hi I can answer that for you.

You will have to record your voice, record yourself dancing or acting. You can send audio for voice or a video of yourself. You need to have a picture of yourself and fill out the Korean application.

Yg has no age limit or limited to ethnicity as they indicated on their website. They only look for talent and if you think you have the talent then you should apply for it. If you pass the online audition, the you are automatically in. For the online audition, I think it is held in Seoul only, but I believe they will pay for you're flight. I mean no way we have that kind of money. And you do not need to pay for anything, they will pay everything such as housing/air ticket to seoul/tuition and I'm pretty sure food is provided n other necessity after all it is a multimillion dollar company.

If you have any questions just ask me

Also can you read my question whether I should audition for JYP. JYP is coming to USA. not that i want to join it but its a one step a way to fame. I actually prefer YG though.

oh also you do not have to finish school to join YG and if you plan on joining YG, then you cannot go to an university/college. However, I'm not sure because probably they will let you go to Seoul University to learn or maybe another college. But they really prefer you to stay at YG at all time because they do not want YG trainees to get exposed before they debut. However, you do not have to live at YG, but if you're from another country or you live far away from Seoul, then you should live there.

Can a white person audition for YG Entertainment?

Height and race don't matter. What you need to have is an appeal to attract millions of fans who like certain characteristics such as supercute aegyo. Look at the new trainee, Kim Jenny. Although she's asian, she does have an appeal, while lots of others don't and they'll never succeed in this industry. Why not audition for korean TV stations? I don't take anyone seriously until they mention certain realistic stuff such as MC-ing or radio DJ-aying and other stuff that idols do on a weekly basis. Everyone wants to sing and dance but no one bothers to do some voice acting lessons for animated movies.

Btw at this age it's best to already be skilled just like Brown Eyed Girls already were when they debuted and later eventually made it big with Abracadabra. Otherwise you need to be someone like Woori or Sandara - older but with appeal.

YG Entertainment Kpop Auditions?

Hi! We are the same age that's cool!
Okay so the audition process is not as scary as some people think before they audition. There are some people that already auditioned for YG in London so they have some experience videos on youtube. Just type in *yg audition, this week* and you will see them.

Trainee life is intense, it really tests your dedication and develops your skill. You learn English and Japanese or Korean and Japanese if you aren't fluent in Korean yet. You have singing lessons, everybody in YG can sing, even if they auditioned as a rapper they will learn how to sing. They will sculpt your body and put you on a diet if you are overweight. Training is hard but it's worth it to be the best.

When you are auditioning don't be so nervous that you are frozen in front of the judges lol. One of the judges / casting manager from yg said the first thing they look at is the 'IT' factor aka swag so if you have swag but you sing decently they will see potential. So you have to show everything you got but make it your own and show your personality. YG won't care if your skin is dark right now but they would lighten your skin while your training.

Good Luck~

YG entertainment audition - MORE infos?

i think that if you can rap and dance, you will probably make it if you practice more :D they usually want asians, so i think there's a high chance of you making it. but you don't need to worry too much about dieting, just make sure you don't look too fat and be friendly. there will probably be someone to teach you korean if you make it and they will ask you to diet, so be prepared.

i plan to audition for yg/jyp/dsp/sm entertainment when i'm older (;

saw your additional info, aaaand i'm back :D

um, SM is pretty much looking for looks, but you will need a certain amount of talent as well, and judging by their auditions, dancing is an important factor as well. They want more pop groups, like SNSD and SHINee, not many groups like SS501, which are more R&B.

As for JYP i'm not too sure, but I think it's pretty much looks as well, with a fair amount to talent.

For YG, they are almost completely 100 percent looking for talent. If you look good, and sing okay, this should be a good option. From what I've heard, YG really cares about what you want.

There's also DSP Entertainment. They want something like 80% looks, 20% talent, and based on what I heard from a trainee, they give you more room to create your own style, not push you into something.

Good luck dear.

P/S: If you know languages like Chinese and English besides Korean or without, it will boost your chances, especially with SM Entertainment.

How to audition for SM, JYP, YG, Cube Entertainment, etc?

It's talent you need. Singing whatever, but if you want this for fame and popularity, I suggest you have other dreams. This is not for you.

Depends on when the auditions are. Firstly you need to send them an e-mail with your personal information (name, date of birth, country of origin, your skills and such) along with a video (I think so, not so sure though) of you either singing or dancing (preferably both). You can choose any foreign song or a Kpop song, it doesn'T matter to them as long as you can show your talents good. End then they will contact you. These are online auditions and as for those who live in Korea - they need to show up at YG Ent at that day and time with a cd or usb stick with a song on it, of your own choosing. And then sing and/or dance along with it. Oh and rap, if that is your "field". This isn't very thorough, I know, but since I don't follow these things, I've only read from people who auditioned so... :) There is a video of an audition to YG so you should check it out! :)
