Hi OP,This all depends on the hotel you choose this cost can go up from anywhere between 1 Lakh to 5–6 Lakhs for your hotels.

It depends up to you that how much you would like to sped.Room charges are different for every hotel, I have searched this on several travel or trip advise sites but I would I like to give you the reference of “TripAdvisor” and as per their website average charges per nights are INR4500 and highest have no limits. You will travel by air from Delhi it will cost you 40000/ each.Food, local transport and other places and there charges are different. You will also buy breakfast, lunch and dinner and it will cost you.I think trip for a week for two adults will cost you around 150000–200000 for a week.

How much would it cost to stay a week in the Maldives?

It depends on where you are staying, how many people you are traveling with, what time of year you go, and what you do.

If you are traveling alone, and are staying in a decent hotel, one week in the Maldives will cost you over $1,000 just to stay in a hotel.

Go to this website to see some prices for the time you will be going there in various hotels:

It can vary a lot. For example you can find a cheap flight for lets say 500–900 usd depending on where you live. From EU around $500 from south east Asia or India much cheaper. From USA $800–900 would be the lowest price. If you want to save and are from USA you can go to Singapoure first for $500 and then get a cheap airasia flight from there for around $120.Home stay accommodation is not expensive at all, actually places like Santorini in Greece have a much larger price for such type of rooms. You can spend just around $30-$50 in a really decent places.Budget but decent hotels are around $50 or more. Resorts $90 and up, usually. It is not a s expensive as one would expect. Around $350 for room and maybe $100 for food, $250 for entertainment equals $700.

I want vacation in Maldives in March 2009. Anyone has idea what to expect and best place to visit and cost? ?

It depends where you are travelling from.......

Do not take much with you, regarding clothes. Take lots of suntan lotion with you, as it can be expensive on the islands.

March is busy time for the Maldives, so do not leave it too late to get something booked.

All the islands have their own charteristics. Small islands, tend to be romantic and intimate, larger islands have more activities and more selection.

Do consider all inclusive as an option, or as a minimum half board. All prices are in US$dollar, and you tend to sign for everything, and then settle on departure.

No high heels required!!! Dress, is generally quite informal - if you need more info feel free to contact me, as I lived in the Maldives for 3 years.

Untouched beaches and un[travel]led shores. Seychelles is a beautiful archipelago of nearly 115 islands, just beyond the coast of Africa. Frequently called the honeymooners' paradise, and with good reason, expect everything from sandy white beaches to lush green hills with perfect diving and snorkeling opportunities, sumptuous seafood and more.Home to everything that you would expect in an island destination, the picturesque background only adds to the fascinating life of friendly people here. World-class restaurants and spas are perfectly spaced on spectacular islands, each offering a view of the perfect sunset. Hike through Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Marron or head out diving at La Digue. Dubbed the 'Galapagos of the Indian Ocean', Seychelles is also a haven for wildlife enthusiasts with a multitude of birds and animals that have made these islands their home.Look out for the Black Parrot, swim with sea turtles, or just laze around on the beach watching the waves roll in. From secluded coves and spectacular sunsets to huge turtles and pink granite rocks, this is where you realise that heaven is not that inaccessible after all.The cost would obviously depend on various factors like where you choose to stay, things to you - places you visit. Supposing these factors as per your honeymoon - I guess it should come around to 55–60k Per person without flights. You can check various Seychelles Itineraries here and let me know if you need help.
