Does FedEx ever deliver earlier than the estimated day?
I order some prescription dog food every month online but this time they ran out of the food from the nearby location and had to ship from across the US. I only have one can left for tomorrow but the delivery is estimated to arrive on Friday. Right now it is in WY and it needs to go all the way to NY. Do you think it would arrive any earlier than Friday? Im really annoyed because now Im probably going to have to take my dog to the vet to get the medication directly from them since it is a pretty specific special order. But any ideas if it could possibly arrive on Wednesday or something? Then maybe I can feed him some other kind of food for a day or two in order to hold off on spending $500 at a vet.
Will my fedex package arrive earlier than estimated delivery date?
Ok my package is already in Sacramento CA and i live about 2 hours from there. Before it said the Estimated delivery date was for Friday feb 11th and now it's changed to Saturday feb 12th. I was just wondering if it will come earlier or before Saturday. Thanks :)

Does FedEx ground deliver earlier than said estimated date?
When I order things, I order on say sunday night, ships out monday evening and I usually get it by friday, but that's packages from like Cali and I'm all the way in Ohio. Recently I ordered something, shipped out june 24, recieved june 29th, and my estimated delivery date was july 1st. So chances are, it may come a day early. but it all depends on the location, whether or not it stays on schedule, and how busy they are. i always get my things before the estimated delivery and i ship standard shipping through them
Does UPS intentionally deliver a package on its expected delivery date even if it could arrive sooner to someone?
It has certainly seemed in the past that the United Parcel Service has done such a thing as it may actually negatively affect their logistics. Anecdotally I can report I have seen a behavior that can only be explained by either idiocy or willful redirection. (I.e. packages arriving in the destination city to be sent halfway across the country before re-arriving in the same city and put on a truck as that is supposedly the most efficient route).Officially, however, the UPS overtly denies that they do this. I am unconvinced by their denials on the one hand, but believe the boundless nature of human stupidity is only topped by that of bureaucratic, organizational, and programmatic stupidity.
Will FedEx deliver my package earlier than estimated date?
If the estimated delivery date is Tuesday, there is a very good chance this is coming by Fedex Home Delivery - which workd Tuesday through Saturday. No Sunday delivery. No Monday delivery. If it *is* coming by regular Fedex or Fedex Ground - they will make their first delivery attempt Monday if it is available - or Tuesday if not. In transit does not mean it is on a truck coming to you - - it means it is on a truck going to the nearest sorting facility before loading on a delivery truck.

Yes, I have had several shipments delivered before the estimated date. Often Fedex will surrender their deliveries to the post office to complete the delivery so they have to account extra time in case the delivery to the post office is later in the day. They allow an extra day or so.
