Hey! So, I bought an iPhone 5C (green-if it matters) from Walmart.com about 3-4 months ago. Now, however, I'm realizing that I really don't like Straight Talk. I have poor service in my area and seldom have service. My question is, can I have my iPhone switched over to a new cell phone provider (Verizon, AT&T, etc.)? I paid full price for my iPhone so is it unlocked? If not, how do I get around to doing that? What is GSM? Is my cell phone GSM? I understand that it has something to do with unlocking phones and transferring sim cards, right? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!:D

yeah ive done that a few times with at&t as well as tmobile, basically as long as it has a sim card and is compatible with the company itll work. i.e im pretty sure cricket phones dont transfer
Why are iphones so cheap at walmart?
The eBay iPhones are more than likely unlocked therefore they would sell for higher & that is the case. They would also be contract free meaning you would not have to stick with or transfer to AT&T for 2 years & pay the $70-80 per month for 2 years contract. The Walmart iPhones are contracted to AT&T for the 2 years & locked to AT&T as well, therefore that's why they sell for cheaper.
