Can I Eat Fast Food And Get Muscle Gain

Can you still gain muscle and eat junk food?

You can for sure eat junk and gain muscle. Me and alot of other bodybuilders take a cheat day and eat what ever we want. I've tried sticking to a strict diet 24/7, and after a couple of years i was burnt out from it. I stick to very strict diet 6 days a week, but on that cheat day i chow down. I eat donuts, cake and ice cream, what ever I want and I don't have a layer of fat over my muscles. Just be sure to hit your daily requirement of protein and don't eat sugar within a half hour of your meals. It sounds like you have a high metabolism, so I think your good to go.

Can eaten fast food help build muscle?

Your right in saying that a fast food usually has high levels of protein and calories and fast food will help you meet your dietary requirements. But it is not something you should be relying on regularly and eating all the time because more often then not fast food has a lot of fat; and that fat is usually bad, unhealthy, high cholesterol-type of fats and that is what you need to watch out for. You really want to focus on eating clean foods which can be prepared with little to no added fats. Below are some suggestions:

Protein Foods
fish, dairy, chicken, eggs, nuts are natural and good for you.

Caloric Foods
fruits, whole gain products, and vegetables

Can I eat fast food and get muscle gain?

Granted im a tall and really skinny guy? 6'1 145. I was wondering if I do a lot of exercise/working out is it possible to get nice results eating a fast food meal or 2 a day? Wendys, chick fil a, taco bell, exc? I am new to working out, but I never have had a problem eating fast food before. I have been playing basketball for 15 years (im 22 years old right now) and it dosent seem to render my performance because I have always been a key player of my teams.

But the question at large: Can I eat fast food and expect results with my body type?

Can i build muscle if i eat junk food ?

I know when trying to build muscle, you need to eat a lot of food but also the right kind of food (tuna nuts, milk) but is it ok to eat junk food once every 1 -2 weeks. I had fries today, and the last time i had fries was 4 weeks ago. Between then & now, i have been eating correctly.
Is it OK to treat yourself ?

Can eating junk food interfere with muscle gain?

Well, I think that there are a few things to consider. You said that you only eat 1-2 times a week. That to begin with does not sound out of this world. You have to be aware of the amount of junk food that you are eating and what kind of food it is. You sound like you are into a healthy life style and should know that some foods are heavier on your body than others. So if you watch what you eat and if it is not in excess you should continue with your progress with no problems. If you feel that something that your friends present to you on your visit may not be the right food to eat that day, just be honest and polite and explain to them what you are trying to accomplish. I am sure they will understand, and as long as it is only once or twice it should not bring any friendship problems to the table.

My own opinion is that you should not bother with the junk food if you want to live a healthy life. On the other hand looking at the Ying/Yang philosophy one thing is a complement of the other (watch out for the amounts). You sound like you are doing just fine.

Can i eat some junk food and still gain muscle if i'm drinking 100% whey protein?

Whether you "put on fat" is purely a function of calorie intake versus calorie usage.

Even if you eat junk food as long as you utilize the calories consumed your body will not store them as fat.

In other words.... just don't eat too much junk food because it is very calorie dense.

P.S. 72 grams of protein (with NOTHING ELSE added) is 288 calories in itself.... and that counts too. There is no such thing as "good calories and bad calories."

Is it possible to build your abs and muscles by eating fast food and dessert as long as you don't go over your calorie limit?

I cannot stop myself from writing this:A lot of my friends believe that you can have an amazing body by eating fast food given that the nutrition fits your Marcos .Yes! You will be able to achieve your goal of loosing or gaining weight but you will damage your health a lot. I believe that whoever goes to the gym or works out is health conscious.First of all fast foods are processed. Now, why are processed food bad?Processed food contains fructose corn syrup. This is also know as ‘empty calories’. They give you a lot of energy but these type of carbohydrates are unable to be assimilated into some thing that is useful in our body . This in turn increases the rate of fat accumulation in our body, causes metabolic imbalance ,makes us insulin resistant which reduces muscle growth ,high triglycerides, increased levels of the harmful cholesterol and increased fat accumulation in the liver and abdominal cavityProcessed food contains tones of chemicals. There are artificial chemicals that are added for various purposes.Colorants: Chemicals that are used to give the food a specific color.Flavor: Chemicals that give the food a particular flavor.Texturants: Chemicals that give a particular texturePreservatives: that protect the food from rottening3. They contain extra fat. Manufacturers add extra fats just because fats makes the food even more tasty4. The biological value of processed food is low . This is because of the chemical they add. This means that very small percentage of protein from chicken or any meat gets absorbed into our body5. It contains very little fiber. Fiber is important to make sure the food is getting digested completely .6. It has been proven that fast foods are to some extent addictive .Thank you ….. Pls excuse the mistakes I may have made and feel free to correct me where I may be wrong .

Do I have to stop eating junk food if I want to build up my muscles?

No, not if you just want mass but dont care for definition and looking cut and only in the short termLook at the pictures below, focus on the 25% body fat vs 10–12%. Both probably have similar muscle mass but the big difference is body fat! Who do you want to look like ?Eating junk and working out intensely will give you results in the short term, however you will soon plateau and your gains will stop. You also wont be aesthetically where you want to be. Every muscular person I meet at the gym has routine of eating right most of the time, with an occasional cheat meal here and thereNothing meaningful in life is achieved without sacrifice and discipline. In this case, sacrifice eating junk food (or at least reduce it considerably) and have the discipline to train regularly and you should see some great results.
