Is it safe to play games on laptop?

You A2A… and of course I was going to say that it was safe… but then I got to thinkin. If you are gaming on a laptop, then it’s probably a nice laptop. I mean, since you can’t do any serious gaming on a cheap laptop… even with Streamplay.So. It’s a nice laptop. It probably cost you a pretty penny, and it most likely is either quite flashy, or has distinctive logos and markings on it.It is also a laptop, which means you’d be using it to game in places other than your home. Like… the coffee shop, and the library… or maybe even in the middle of a park somewhere. I mean, you spent the money on a gaming laptop. If you never planned on using it anywhere other than your desk, even if you have a teeny tiny desk, you made a mistake and blew money on the mobility that could have given you better performance for the same dollar in a desktop. So… laptop. Mobile. Gaming out in public. That draws attention.People seem to like to steal expensive looking electronics. I dunno. Maybe it is the fact that they are expensive and mobile, and relatively easy to turn over for a tidy sum. But you aren’t the Macbook owner with the expensive laptop who would probably hand it over if confronted… because that’s the smart thing to do. You are the ROG owner who couldn’t afford the $1400 to begin with, and this punk isn’t going to take it from you that easily. So… in the wrong circumstances… playing games on a laptop could be unhealthy, and therefore deemed as “unsafe”.I know, weird… right?

How can I hide this game on my laptop?

Alright I have a PC laptop and I bought the sims 3 game. I need to hide it from my parents (I'm 16, my parents just hate me playing video games like that. Don't say "talk to them" because I have and they're just extremely irrational). They occasionally borrow my laptop so I need to know how to hide the shortcut and the icon that comes up under "all programs" in the start tab. Is that even possible?

How many games can a PC laptop hold with 16GB?

I think you may be confusing Hard Drive space with RAM.
Your Hard Drive on more recent laptops will be 250GB to 500GB, more modern games today usually range from 5-30 GBs each (I hope you can do simple division to calculate the number of games a hard drive can hold). A Hard Drive is where all your information on the computer is stored in what could be considered a more dormant state.
Random-Access Memory (RAM) commonly known as Memory is a more active state of information storage. RAM more often comes in groups of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB for laptops. Recommended 4GBs for gaming (currently only a handful of games that will utilize more than 4GBs) You really won't need more than 8GB. Increasing RAM will help increase your computers ability to multitask.

Even if you have some of the best gear on the market there is no guarantee you will not have glitches and failures. This type of occurrences are more commonly due to software problems, either the game did not install/download properly, corrupted files, or just bugs in the game that didn't get fixed by the creators.

How can I play my xbox 360 games on my laptop?

first thing you should know is that you don't need your actual disks and second is that what I will suggest is technically illegal but it is one of those things where so many people do it you won't be called up or anything.

So first visit http://www.coolrom.com/tutorial.php

read that. It is an emulator website where you can install an xbox 360 emulator then download games on your computer and play them with the emulator you download. unfortunately, xbox games are rarer than, say, n64 games to download but there are a few. also, i dont believe you get multiplayer on games like CoD. Now you will need an xbox remote that attaches to your laptop and if your does not, you need to buy an adapter, i suggest this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000HZFCT2

If you can't connect an xbox remote at all then you can still use the keyboard though that isnt recommended. Coolrom still not have the games you want? Try this site;

http://www.emulator-zone.com/

An emulator is simply something that lets you play a console game on your computer. A rom is the game itself. Now your should know that if you cant find an xbox game you want to play you can download emulators for other consoles such as n64, SNES, PS1, or even Atari. You can use the xbox remote to play any of those.

Happy Gaming and good luck :P

How many hours can I play games in a laptop?

If the laptop is connected to the power supply, you can play as long as you want only if the battery does not give away or the laptop does not become faulty. The major problem with excessive gaming on a system like laptop is that it heats up way too fast. And in the sunmer days, it becomes a major problem. So in that case, I used to set up my desk and chair right in front of the air conditioner and turn on the air conditioner and enjoy the games. The laptop used to get minimally heated if I did that. Sometimes in the middle of June, I had to wear the sweatshirt since it got too cold, but I had to game on. :DYou can use cooling pad if heating is the problem. Though it doesn’t help much.Never put your laptop on your bed or any material that can obstruct the vents in the laptop. Always put on a flat surface for the ventilation to work properly.Happy gaming. :)

Can i play PC games on my dell laptop?

CD games on a laptop without a CD drive?

Im sorry i just edited my answer, my last was dumb

But yes it is very possible to do so

ok so the frst way is
insert your cd and flashdrive, go to my computer right click on your CD drive and click open then just copy the installer and paste it onto flashdrive

second wey is
download and install an ISO creator such as MagicISO. Put in the cd, go to My Computer, right click your CD drive there should be an option called MagicISO, with an arrow next to it. Mouse over, than click "Make image file from ?:". MagicISO will open and a box will show up; pick your file destination, your flash drive, type in a name, then click on "OK" or "burn".

And finally
this method is after you downloaded, for games that require for the cd to be in every time you play
just Google "no cd patch (and the name of your game)" be careful with what you download make suare to scan the web page and the downloaded folder, in most cases it will be a zip folder

if your CD is well protected you are out of lock
but i believe there is a program out there that will simplify all this for you and break protected games, but i havent found such thing yet

Can I download games for my school laptop?

So basically at the moment i have GTA san andreas and Need For Speed Most Wanted on my laptop, i have a system hack which bypasses the laptop protocols or whatever and allows my to use google chrome at home, go on facebook etc. And I recently downloaded Torchlight, but when i go to play it, it asked me to mount the ISO. Now is there a way to make the laptop think I have mounted the ISO so I can play the game on this laptop? Or do I HAVE to be an administrator?
