Can I Get Emancipated At 15 In Nevada And If I Can How Do I Do It

Im 17, is it a good idea to get emancipated?

Probably not, but without knowing your particular situation it's impossible to say.

Teen mom being emancipated in Nevada?

No. Pregnancy does NOT automatically emancipate a minor. MANY people are confused on that aspect. Emancipation in this situation would only be granted if you could prove that you and the child are completely financially independent and that it would be in both of your best interests to be emancipated. Here is a law article on emancipation: http://www.danieljensenfamilylaw.com/articles/child-emancipation/ So, you would have to have enough in savings and at your job to pay for rent, utilities, medical bills, insurance, food, transportation, and other general cost of living expenses for both you and your child without the help of any other person. That means you can not use your boyfriend's income in the request.

How do i get medical emancipation?

Medical emancipation has only been granted in a handful of cases (I can only think of one, and they made a movie about it). It would not be granted to allow you to participate in an elective (for you) medical procedure. In the one case I do know the emancipation was granted so that the child could stop participating in medical procedures.

To pull it off she found one of the best lawyers around that did the work pro bono.

Sorry, not going to happen.

If a 16 year old female gets emancipated and decides to date a 24 year old male, is it still illegal?

Great question!Emancipation only affects your minor status when it comes to parental supervision requirements. Your parents are responsible for your well-being until you turn 18. Emancipated minors can sign documents on their own behalf and can make decisions on their own behalf without needing a parent or guardian. However, other “age-restricted” functions of the state still remain: the drinking age, the driving age, the age of consent, etc. Emancipation pertains to anything which might require a parent or guardian’s signature, such as entering into a rental agreement for an apartment, getting a job, etc. It also alleviates the parents of responsibility for your actions. Finally, you can date anyone you like. You just can’t have sex with them. That’s illegal. Even states with “close-in-age” clauses to their statutory rape laws require you to be within only a few years. An 8-year difference is probably too much. Check your state’s statutory rape laws to be sure.

How old does a child have to be in state of nevada to be immanciapated?

I don't know about Nevada, but I would think a child could be emancipated at 18. Why, don't you want her?

Can i move out at the age of 16 in nevada?

Only if you get emancipated from your parents which is VERY hard. You have to go to court and have a very good reason for why you want to get divorced. Just saying you don't like your parents will not cut it. They have to be abusing you, stealing your money, etc. Then you must show proof that you can provide for yourself. Which means you will need quite a bit of money. I suggest you just wait till you are 17.
