I think acrylic nails look best in a square shape. It is by far the most youthful, popular and flattering shape for acrylic nails. I wear my acrylics with french tips in a very square ducktail shape and get lots of compliments. I say square. Happy B-day! :-) The only people I see with round or almond nails are still old ladies

Round nails or square nails?
It's prom tomorrow and I am going to get my nails done in the morning. I was growing them and was going to have a manicure but unfortunately snapped 2 yesterday. I am going to have false nails but not sure if I want it rounded or square-I quite like square but not sure what is best? If its any help by dress is navy blue and long, hair will be up and going for a natural look which includes natural makeup look. Thank you
How can I make my nails oval?
I really like her oval nails: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21o28w1&s=2 I just wanna give a picture for a good example.... well my middle finger, pinky finger, and ring finger, they grow to look square, and I dont really like it. but my index and thumb fingernails, are pretty oval, but i want the rest of them too be shaped the same. So is there anyway I can reshape them? like a nail filer or something? or go to a nail salon next time i get the painted?....thanks!
