The greencard lottery is currently closed until next october. Any website which lets you enter now and asks for money is at best charging you for something you can do free and at worst a scam. Put it on your calendar to check this website http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ some time next September. It will eventually tell you when exactly the next greencard lottery starts and how long it goes and give you instruction for applying. It is definitely easy enough so that you don't need to pay somebody money to do it for you.

i got this via email from my aunt that lives in the usa, she gave me the link and i went on and applied, when it came to the "paying" part i backed out...so in 30 minutes they called me back and started asking me questions, eventually i cave in, gave them my credit card number, blabla...fortunately for me, my credit card declined their withdrawal. but is it for real? shall i recharge my net card??? pls let me know... the site is www.usafis.org
