Can you get kicked out of Marine Corps boot camp?
I'm thinking of going to boot camp and I have a question. I've been doing research and it's unclear to me if you can be kicked out. Like if you can't pass the confidence course or crucible. I heard something about being recycled or going to a physical training program? But my question is if you get accepted into boot camp can you get kicked out?Can you get kicked out for not being able to do x amount of push ups and sit ups and such..? Or for not scoring high enough on tests? Or is it if you're in, they'll make sure you pass whatever the circumstance.
Why do women in general think they're always right, as opposed to men?
I understand that both men and women do it, but it seems like women do it a lot more. For example, when a man and woman argue with each other, the woman usually think she's right, even when she's proven wrong multiple times. On the other hand, men usually admit when they're proven wrong, more than women. I'm not trying to be sexist, but this is what I've noticed a lot. So what's the reason? Please be truthful.
Does HIPAA override a military medical records release form?
A Marine recruiter told me that the military makes you sign a medical records release form before you join, but it is useless because of HIPAA. Does anyone know for sure if this is true?
How long does it take for a burn to heal?
I'm talking about a second degree burn covering about half of a guy's chest. And how is a burn like that treated? I'm asking for research for something I'm writing. The character was near an explosion, the left side of his body was turned toward the explosion. Anything about length of treatment, how it's treated and how long it will take to heal would be great. What I'm really looking for is a timeline of some sort. Days, weeks, months... something like that. Thank you!
