How can I legally own a gun in San Francisco?

Yes it is legal to own a gun. It is one of our most important rights/obligations as Americans. To be honest you might need to leave San Fran to purchase it though as I don’t know how many dealers there are around SF. Yes, CA have extremely strict and in my opinion, pointless rules about firearms. If you want a handgun you need to pass a safety test and if you want a long gun you don’t need to pass the handgun safety test. You can’t carry in CA. Pretty much nobody can unless you are a politician, a cop, or your connected. NOBODY gets approved to carry in CA, at least not SoCal and I’m assuming its similar in SF. Regardless, if you do decide to purchase a firearm I HIGHLY suggest you sign up for some good training on safety and tactics and law. It will give you a deeper respect for the weapon and give you the confidence to handle it properly.

Is it legal to own guns in Germany?

Yes, if you have a Waffenbesitzkarte, i.e. a license to own a gun. To apply for one, you have to prove the following:You are over 18 years oldYou are reliable - basically comes down to a police background check. You are fit to own a gun - no psychological issues, drug abuse history, etc.You have the skill and knowledge to handle a gun - usually requires passing a test. You have some need to own a gun - can be collecting or competitive shooting, but “I like guns” definitely doesn’t cut it.However, the Waffenbesitzkarte does not allow you to carry the gun anywhere except your own home, workplace or shooting ranges. You can transport it if it is unloaded and in a sealed container. Carrying a gun in public requires a Waffenschein, which is much, much harder to get.

Can I legally own a gun on disability for bipolar?

I am on disability for Bipolar disorder. I did take all my meds once, and tried to commit suicide, so I was put in the psychiatric unit for two weeks..
I know it says on the form you fill out when you buy a gun something about your mental state, and something about being in a mental ward. But I don't think the unit they put me in would be considered a mental ward.
I ask this question before, and got alot of answers that were opinions that they did not think I should own one. Because I may hurt someone or hurt myself.

Can someone please tell me if it would be legal for me to own one. I have already bought a gun, and passed the check that they do. I answered no to the question about mentally defective, because I do not believe I am.

I want to take a CCW course, and I need to know if I legally can do it?

Can I legally own a hedgehog in Texas?

Can I legally make my own fully automatic gun from scratch?

Certainly, if you pay for a tax stamp for the weapon first and pay for a Special Occupation Tax. And if you’re making that machine gun for a governmental agency (federal, state or local).Otherwise, no. Making a machine gun requires a Special Occupation Tax for person building that gun (or their business) and as said above, the weapon has to be for a governmental entity.Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and ExplosivesNow, you can legally build any non-NFA firearm that you desire, although the BATFE strongly recommends a maker mark (think of it as your brand name) and a serial number. You don’t need a serial number for a personal use firearm, but if you sell it, it’ll need to have a serial number.Does an individual need a license to make a firearm for personal use?Oh, there’s another thing to consider. Owning the components of a machine gun and possessing a firearm that can be converted may be considered “Constructive Possession”. That means that the BATFE can and will “throw the book at you”.

Can one legally carry a gun in Portugal?

I'm an American, and I'm proud to say I have never left Minnesota before now.

However, I am supposed to be moving to a European country called 'Portugal' to work for the bank I work for's branch there.

Now, to me carrying a gun is the most important right somebody can have. Without your right to bear arms, you are living in an oppressive and tyrannical dictatorship which can take away your rights at any moment. Therefore, when I move to Portugal, I want to purchase and carry a Glock17 handgun.
It's my constitutional right to defend myself from muggery and oppressive government.

How do I go about getting a license in Portugal to carry a gun? Or is Portugal a dictatorship run by socialists like Spain,, where you are not trusted with weapons?

Thank you in advance. In Jesus' name I pray that someone can help me find an answer to this. Gee, I'm really nervous, you know. I'm worried I won't be able to carry a gun, and you sort of feel naked and vulnerable without that liberty…

How do I go about legally owning a gatling gun in the United States?

It depends on what you mean by “gatling gun”.If you mean this:it’s simply a matter of finding one for sale and buying it. It will likely be expensive. Depending on when it was made, it may not even be legally considered a firearm. If it is, you fill out the 4473 and deal with the regular background check, and then walk out with your new gatling gun.If you mean this:then it gets harder. First, you’ll have to find a transferable one for sale. I know there are a few of those floating around, but not many. Any that is for sale will likely cost six figures. Once you’ve found one, and can afford it, then you have to go through the ATF rigmarole that is inherent to buying any NFA item - the paperwork, the tax stamp, the months and months of waiting, etc. Once you have it in hand, remember that this thing shoots 7.62 NATO, which costs about 50 cents a round usually. And it fires at a rate of 3–6,000 rounds a minute. That’s $1500-$3000 a minute just to shoot this thing. If you can afford this, I want to be your friend and come over to your house. Because miniguns are awesome.
