Do punching your stomach help lose stomach fat or flatten your stomach out?

i mean like, I see this in muy thai boxing, they have 4 kickers whom will simoutaneously kicked u while you hold your stomach muscles in, and i gues this trains your body? is it effective?

Yes, I know you can't spot reduce or anything, and that your stomach fat is the last to come off, so I don't need a lecture on that lol. But I'm not able to go running in my area (not very safe for a teen girl in my neighborhood) :/ But overall will eating better and running/jogging on a treadmill help me to flatten out my stomach? What exercises can I do to burn stomach fat, but not lose my boobs?

Unfortunately, when women lose weight they can sometimes lose their breasts with it. There is no easy way to get rid of stomach fat. Increasing the amount and time of cardiovascular workouts you do per day will help get rid of this. This may sound cliche, but you cannot spot reduce. Drink plenty of water and increase your vegetable intake. Sometimes decreasing the amount of sugar in your diet can help with this. Take into consideration HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) when planning your workout. High intensity workouts followed by low intensity exercises have been proving to burn more fat than longer low intensity workouts. Check out the site below for some great exercises. Once your body fat percentage is lowered, you can then work on toning your stomach area. Great exercises for this are leg raises, planks, side crunches and bicycle crunches (See reference below). Sit-ups and crunches will not do anything if there is too much fat there. Including strength training can also help with it, since gaining more muscle burns more calories.

As for the breast part, breasts are made of both fat and breast tissue. Depending on the woman, she may have more or less breast tissue. If you are the lucky woman that has quite a bit of breast tissue, you might be in luck. Those who have breasts made of mostly fat are likely to lose this when losing weight. If I had the choice, I would rather have small breasts and be fit and healthy than being heavy and having larger breasts. You can also do exercises to increase the size of the pectoral muscle underneath, which can make them "perkier" (See reference below for exercises). A good push up bra/bikini top can help with this appearance ;) Either way, you need to give your body time to change. Hard work will pay off in the long run. Good luck!

Im not overweight.I like everything on my body besides my belly fat and the fat on my sides.I dont want to get abs though just a flat tummy.i also have a swim party coming up im 2 months and need to lose it by then.please help ASAP.

You cannot target an area for fat loss. The fact that your abdominal muscles are sore simply means that they are not used to actually having to work, and you shocked them by doing sit-ups. Working the muscles under that fat does not make that fat go away any faster than working any other muscle. You lose stomach fat the same way you lose fat in any other part of the body, by burning more calories than you consume, or building muscle to replace the fat as you maintain your weight.

Doing sit-ups is better than sitting in front of the TV only because you are moving, which burns more calories than not moving, but it is not nearly as good as walking, running, riding a bicycle, lifting weight, or even golfing.

Does power walking help you lose belly fat?

yes walking will help to loose fat around the stomach area. Its is very important that you remember to breath properly in through nose and out (some say through nose others say through mouth).
Another important point is tomake sure you are holding your back straight and your abdomin in tight. Actually if you do this at all time it will help you to strengthen your stomach muscles.
Don't give up!!! The stomach area for both men and women is one of the last places that fat is burned. For instance women will first loose fat around the chest, arms, and upper body, then in the butt, thighs, and stomach.

So to help even out you make want to work in a weight lifting program for your upper body, No rush though you'll know when its time for you to kick it up another knotch.

the key is not to give up because if you notice that your face looks slimmer or other people notice your looking 'different" but they can't put they're finger on it, that means your headed in the right direction.

Also be sure your taking vitamins and drinking lots of water and watch what you're eating.

Do running on treadmills help lose belly fat?

When you exercise, two things happen... you burn calories and you tone muscles. Contrary to popular belief you can not burn calories in a specific part of your body. For example, doing crunches doesn't burn calories in your belly, it burns calories, total. If all you do is crunches, you MAY see the weight loss in your stomach first, but that is not due to targeted calorie burning...it is due to muscle tightening that happened as a result of the exercise you chose. Conversely, all you could do is crunches and still NEVER lose your belly fat if you do nothing else to get rid of the flab. It is possible to be doing intese belly workouts but to replace the total calories burned with junk food, and your stomach will actually get bigger. This is because the muscle has now built up, or toned, but any calories burned, is replaced with diet.
So the answer is yes, it CAN help to loose belly fat because you will burn calories. Crunches would definately be an added boost to reach your goal because you burn more calories for the more muscle mass you have. Crunches/Ab work will increase your muscle mass which will inturn turn your stomach workout into more of a calorie burning workout. However, if all you want to do is loose fat, then yes, RUN RUN RUN! You will burn calories. ANd while you're likely to see your legs tone up first, it will undoubtedly (assuming your diet is proper) effect your other body parts as well.

Yes. You are right. If you eat very little you will lose your belly fat. A good way to lose belly fat is by eating less, not starving, so you are doing the right thing. Belly fat is mostly due to huge dinners I suppose. You can eat a nice quantity for breakfast and lunch but not at dinner. I say this from experience. Over the years the main reason I accumulated a lot of belly fat is because I ate very heavy dinners(I wasn't very informed at the time) and slept immediately after eating. For food to digest, you need to be physically active for at least 3 hours after eating. The day I came to know about this, I started having supper instead of dinner. I have it at 7 and sleep at 11, so that conveniently gives my body 4 hours to digest the food before I go to bed. This also makes sure you wont have to take a dump in the morning. I used to suffer through my school days because of my ignorance. I had to take a dump every morning right after I woke up. That was because my dinner was never given a chance to digest because I used to sleep right after eating. I also got a lot of belly fat because of it. Nowadays I don't have to take a dump in the morning and that gives me more time to eat breakfast and get ready for college. So if you want to lose your belly fat, eat decent quantities at breakfast and lunch but very very less at dinner and give enough time for your dinner to digest before you go to bed. If you are in a hurry to lose your belly fat, you can skip dinner for some days till your belly fat gets burnt. After you've burnt it, you can make sure it won't come back by eating less on all three meals and not sleeping immediately after eating dinner(or any meal for that matter).
