Can I Monetize A Video That Has No Copyright What If It Has Copyright After I Uploaded The Video

How can I upload copyrighted videos on YouTube?

U can upload that video but don't monetize the video

Do people monetize videos on YouTube that's copyrighted such as music and TV shows?

No. That is against the agreement you would have with YouTube.  Not only is that not allowed through the user agreement with YouTube, if a video has copyrighted material in it, you can NOT turn on monetization. By way of example one of our traveling blog posts as we sailed across the Gulf of Mexico had Kid Rock Music playing in the background. We were listening to the CD on the stereo down below on the boat and while I was up top and the music was just in the background of the scene, YouTube flagged it and I was not able to monetize it.

Can I upload a copyrighted content without monetizing it?

In short : Yes.It is and always has been possible to upload pretty much anything to YouTube some even uploaded brutal beatings, beheading and molestation of women/children which were eventually taken down but now YouTube has a much better algorithm that can sort of identify such things and take them down faster. Now when it comes to copyrighted content the problem was never with uploading it was with YouTube muting it or giving you a strike or taking the video down BUT now that has changed and YouTube allows the copyrighted content the only difference is the video makes money for the copyright owner so everyone is happy.Although that is a nice thing a lot of people have started abusing this by uploading a huge amount of copyrighted material and even live streaming it.Final thoughts : YouTube used to have a line called “Broadcast yourself” along with the logo and that is what YouTube was and i cannot believe i am saying this but vlogs are pretty much inline with what YouTube was for. Content that was yours and you made yourself. Since the time YouTube introduce money the whole idea was lost and now its just millions posting whatever just to make money and the “Broadcast yourself” is completely lost.

What happens if you upload a copyrighted video with some editing on YouTube?

Hey! I am an 18y Indian YouTuber. I post funny VLOGS on my channel, which I'm sure you'd enjoy every bit. Here's the link to my channel: I AM PARITOSH ANANDSo, your answer. My friend it all comes down to whether or not you meet the copyright laws to use that video. In every case, if you're using someone else’s video without their consent, you would be violating laws, unless you've taken their consent through email/comments.But yes, it comes down to being discovered. You would see almost millions of REACTION VIDEOS on YouTube. Public figures tend to let go off because traffic to their sites increases once their videos are used too. Generally in this case, that video is given a COPYRIGHT CLAIM, and almost all of the revenue earned through it goes to its original owner. So yes, you can definitely use the video. It's always good to have the owner’s consent, but if not, go ahead and don't monetize that video, and you're all good.Cheers:)

How do I upload YouTube videos which have copyright issues if I want to monetize them?

My team and I have made 5000+ videos on YouTube and using this approach we increased our revenue by 15%+.If you want to make money on videos which have copyright issues and make money on them, do the following steps:In addition to your main YouTube channel, you need to buy one more on EpicNpc forum. The goal is to buy an established channel with enabled monetization for $100.Before uploading a video on your main channel upload it on the second one. Wait for 48 hours. Once you received copywrite notice analyze what part of the video is not ok. Usually, YouTube notifies you what video's part is against the rules (let's say 30 second period from 4.15 to 4.45 minute)Replace that part or replace the music.Upload to the second channel and wait for 24 hours. If everything is ok, remove the video from second channel and upload it to you make one.Use few channels rule to double check issues before showing your video to subscribers.Good luck.Dee

YouTube Monetizing, Video Game Copyright Help?

I recently created a channel for Let's Plays on YouTube. A Let's Play (or LP for short) is a video or series where you upload gameplay and commentary of a video game. Not to be confused with Walkthrough which is a step by step guide on how to complete objectives in a video game. An LP is not a guide, but rather just for fun. I've been uploading Sims 3 gameplay with commentary onto my channel. It's a series so there's a part one, part two, and so on. I was considering monetizing my videos. I know I need permission from the company who makes the game, (Electronic Arts) but how do I get that permission? And can I monetize my videos of LP's with permission from the company? How do I get the evidence to prove that I have permission?

How do I upload a WWE YouTube video without getting a copyright notice?

I've seen normal YouTube users upload WWE footage. Footage uploaded from years like 2007-2010 are still there. Is there a certain thing they did so WWE wouldn't put a claim on it?

Should I remove a YouTube video that is copyrighted and unmonetized?

You own the copyright to any video that you have created. However, if you uploaded a video to which the copyright belongs to another person, than you may be infringing on the owner’s copyright (whether or not the video is monetized is irrelevant). If the owner discovers this and alerts YouTube, or YouTube discovers the infringement themselves, that video will be taken down. Theoretically, the copyright holder could also sue you for copyright infringement, although usually in such cases, the copyright holder is satisfied if you comply with a cease and desist request.

Question about YouTube Copyright?

I'm 18 and plan on starting a YouTube channel. I wanted to make videos on Hot Wheels. Mostly reviews on their cars and sometime other things than just reviews but it will all be on Hot Wheels. I read all the laws on YouTube about copyright, fair use etc. but it's really hard to get all the info inside my head without forgetting and I really don't want to get a copyright strike! My questions are:

- Am I allowed to make videos about Hot Wheels in general or will I need to get permission for that?
- Am I allowed to have the Hot Wheels logo in my videos? Let's say I haven't opened the original packing of a car and the card has the logo, can I still show it?
- Am I allowed to have car manufacturers and their logos in my videos (E.g. Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW etc.)
and if so, can I include them in my thumbnails?
- Some of the cars have brands on them such as sparco, yokohama and so on... Can I show them in my videos?
- Before uploading a video, there's a box that I can check and it says "Content declaration. This video contains a paid product placement or endorsement." Would I have to check that box for reviews and anything including Hot Wheels in it?
- If all goes well, Is my content safe to monetize?
