Can I Play Intense Video Games Like Battefield On Macbook Laptops

I'm currently using Macbook Pro 2016. Can I play Battlefield 1 on it?

Before answering, which 2016 MacBook are you using? Here's a short answer:13″ MacBook Pro: no15″ MacBook Pro: yesAs you know, MacBooks aren't well equipped to play graphically intensive games. However, if you really want to play games on a MacBook, you'll have to get the, possibly, most expensive MacBook which can burn a hole in your wallet and pants that no fireman can ever extinguish — if not, that's great!Okay, let's take a look at the minimum requirement for Battlefield 1:OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600KMemory: 8GB RAMGraphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GBGraphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GBDirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalentOnline Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connectionHard-drive space: 50GB…and here's the recommended spec:OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or laterProcessor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 WraithProcessor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalentMemory: 16GB RAMGraphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 480 4GBGraphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GBDirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalentOnline Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connectionAvailable Disk Space: 50GB—If you look at the minimum spec, an entry level 2016 15″ MacBook Pro is good enough to play the game but you'll have to tone down the settings to the lowest. The highest specced 15″MacBook Pro will cost you a whopping $4,300 and even at that price, the GPU doesn't even match the recommended spec with a Radeon Pro 460 4GB (which is worse than RX 480).Of course, you have to install Windows on your MacBook which adds up to the cost. All in all, my advice is do not buy a Mac just for gaming. Build a dedicated gaming PC or buy a console.

Is Intel Iris 6100 Graphic on MBP good to play games?

Depends on the video games that you want to play. Because your have a Mac, you first must make sure the game is compatible with the software. Most modern AAA games (COD, Destiny, Halo, Bloodborne, etc.) are not compatible with Mac, much less PC in general, not to mention that Iris graphics definitely will not be able to run them on the off chance that they are compatible. If you want to play AAA games, then you are better off getting a console. However, if you want to play web games or less graphically intensive games (Miniclip.com, Minecraft, etc.), then you should be aware that most of those games are made by Indie developers. Those developers usually target the Windows audience, as they are the easiest and most numerous of the three operating systems (Windows, iOS, Linux) to produce for. Because of that, indie hands that feature iOS support are rather rare.Keep in mind that just because a game is compatible with iOS didn't mean that it can be played on iOS. Iris graphics my be much better than older integrated GPUs, but they are no where close to the level of dedicated GPUs.Basically, Iris graphics can run relatively few games when compared to Windows and consoles. Add on to that the fact that iOS itself isn't compatible with many games, and you have the fact that Macs were not made for gaming.

What games can a mid 2013 13.3 inch Macbook Pro play?

I, personally have run MW3 on a MacBook Air without any problems. If you want your games to function properly, then make sure you don't have like 1GB left of your hard drive or something. And also remember to close as many background programs as possible without risking your computer to hacking.
But, again, I never had any troubles running MW3 with some security background programs
But I think Battlefield 3 will lag, because an average MacBook just BARELY supports BF3 and it will lag
The games you listed should work perfectly if you have Windows 7 (any version) installed to your Mac.

I am planning to upgrade to Macbook, I play PC games such as COD, Battlefield, Assassin Creeds on My Windows laptop, Will this windows game run on my Macbook or I will have to download them again?

I am using macbook pro 15 inch with intel iris pro and it perfectly and smoothly runs a lot of games like call of duty black ops which was one of the heavy weight cod. The games you mention will face no problem just install windows and you are good to go. If you have the budget go for macbook with nvidia card and you will see great results.

What games can I run on a 2015 Retina MacBook Pro?

No. You cannot hope to run GTA 5 with any settings at a playable and enjoyable framerate on the MBP 13 Retina 2015.From the reviewers at Notebook Test, Laptop Test und News:If you can live with reduced quality settings, then you can actually play many current titles smoothly with the MBP 13 with low settings. Our tests, however, confirm that the Iris Graphics 6100 cannot really utilize its higher shading performance in many titles – it is pretty rare that the HD Graphics 5500 or Iris Graphics 5100 (both have a similar performance) fall more than 15 up to 20% behind. A dedicated GeForce 840M is at least 40% faster on average. Our benchmarks, which were all performed under Windows 8.1, created a mysterious problem multiple times: The display of the MacBook started flickering after we changed the resolution and we were able to see parts from the menu or the desktop for a brief moment. We could not notice this behavior under OS X, so we think it is caused by a faulty graphics driver. There was, unfortunately, no newer version at the time of writing. Here are the benchmarks:(Source: Apple MacBook Pro Retina 13 (Early 2015) Notebook Review)

How is gaming on a MacBook Air 2015?

I would strongly advise against playing heavy duty games on the MacBook Air.First of all by heavy duty, I mean games which take the CPU temperature above 80 degree Celsius. That along with the MBA exhaust fan speed can be checked and modified by a free application named ‘smcfancontrol’.Sure, MBA is capable of running some intensive graphics games including Assasian Creed Rogue and Battlefield 4 (I have tested these two games on a MBA) but the main concern is that unlike other laptops(even MacBook Pro), it simply lacks the dedicated exhaust system needed for dealing with the heat generated by such games. The MacBook Air is not built to be a gaming machine. It’s width reduction means that it has no air vents on the side like most laptops. It also means that it does not house a very powerful fan to deal with the heat. The only air vent it has is located at the rear end, at the hinge formed by the screen and the body. The Intel chip it houses boasts of a feature of shutting the computer at dangerous temperatures(>100 degree C). However prolonged time at elevated temperatures(80–100 degree C) is also very harmful for any machine. It slowly damages the internal hardware leading to results like burning of the motherboard(a new motherboard can cost you around $600). Hence I would say playing heavy games is like slow poison for the MBA.The Macbook Air has a lot of features to be boasted about and it is an excellent netbook. Don’t deprive yourself of all that by playing games! : P

AMD Radeon HD 6750M vs intel hd 3000?

The Intel HD 3000 graphics is the graphics integrated on the processor. This laptop may have another graphics card with dedicated graphics (like mine, it has Intel HD 3000 on the i7 processor and then the GT555M dedicated). You can choose which of the two graphics cards run each program (e.g. the GT555M for games and then Intel HD 3000 for simple tasks like Internet Explorer).
Look at the more detailed specifications of the laptop with Intel HD 3000 and see if it does have a separate GPU.

The Radeon HD 6750M will play Skyrim without problems on medium settings and will probably play on high settings as well. As a comparison, the console version looks the same as the PC version on low-medium settings.

Can I run FIFA 18 on a MacBook Pro 13" 2017?

Hell Yes! (If you’ve windows installed)My brother recently uninstalled Fifa 18 from this laptop but he plays other games also on this machine like Watch dogs, CSGO, CS 1.6, Rocket league, Road Redemption etc.The gameplay is fine without any lags and he uses a PS4 controller to play fifa 18.The graphics quality is obviously not so good because this machine houses intel on-board graphics and no extra GPU card.I am not sure whether a wrapper for Fifa 18 for macOS is out or not. So you’ll have to check for macOS over the internet.Cheers!
