Can I Purchase Digital Movies With It

Where can I buy 4k digital movies?

(Nov 2016)Not surprising that you are not seeing a lot of 4K content out there, because there is very little of it.Most movies are not mastered to 4k yet. You may also be surprised that most movies are not even run in cinemas in 4K. Most cineplexes are still projecting 2K. But it is a wide colour space, low compression, high dynamic range signal. A good example that megapixels alone do not create the best images.99% of all “4K” movies are just upresed 2K content. Because your “4K” UHD set can likely up res HD admirably you are actually better off sticking with HD content. Here’s why. If you expand a HD source to UHD but then need compress the hell out of it to reduce the downloadable file size it will look worse at your end than getting a pristine limited compression HD signal and letting your set upres it. Compressing an expansion is not ideal.Just a heads up that 2K sounds a lot more impressive than 1080P but it’s not really. TV manufacturers have just used the width measurements first. So HD is actually 1. 92K, pretty close in resolution to 2K. 4K is not actually 4K but 3840 pixels across. So 3.84KThere is always lots of spec exaggeration going on. Only believe a portion of what set manufacturers say.

How can I get a digital copy of my movie?

Today, I purchased the Blu-Ray of "Seven Pounds." It had a digital copy with it, on a separate disc. It contained a slip of paper, with a redeemable code on it. I put the digital copy disc into my Mac and opened up iTunes. It came up with the screen to enter a code. I entered my code, correctly, might I add, and it said that the time to redeem this code has expired. I was promised a digital copy with my purchase, as it was advertised on the front of the cover. The movie was sitting on the shelf in the store for months, and it expired. I'm rather disappointed that I am unable to get it, due to that fact. If it had been sitting on my own, personal shelf, neglected, and had expired, I could completely understand. But this is ridiculous. I feel this was almost a "false-advertisement." Does anyone have any ideas?

Where can I buy a digital version of a 4k movie that I can download?

Most studios are resisting allowing downloads for 4K because they view it as having less control over the content security but also perhaps they still want to support the Blu-ray market.Even if you intend to purchase I haven't yet seen services that provide 4K downloads.

Can you download digital copies of movies if you have a proof of purchase #?

I don't want to sell them, I just want to put them on my ipod. I have the original dvd and the proof of purchase tabs, but i didn't but the one that comes with the digital copy, so I was wondering if there is a site from with I can download one.

Whats the difference between digital and regular movies?

Regular movies (also known as analog movies) are on film stock. They go through a film projector to show them.

A digital movie is actually a bunch of 1s and 0s, digital information, which gets sent on a disk or through a connection to a machine which stores them as computer data. This machine is attached to a projector, which converts the data into a picture and sound. There is no film involved.

Most movies are shot on digital cameras and are later put onto film. Yes, there are still some films that use film as the primary medium of recording, but there are fewer of them all the time; film is expensive, and they shoot a lot of film to make a movie. Digital cameras are less expensive to use, although they may cost a bit to buy. However, some people prefer the look of film, especially for certain types of movies.

As to which is preferable, I have never seen a film as both digital and analog, so I can't give you that expert an answer. I can say that I have never seen anything that made me say, "wow, that digital is cool." The one noticable difference to me is that digital is cleaner after multiple showings, whereas every trip through the projector is a potential for film to get scratched or damaged. (I saw one film which had a lot of scratches and the such, and that was just the way that I wanted it for that film, since it was based on a twenty-year-old book. The thing is, I wished that I had known if that was the copy of the film or if that was an effect that was done to the original.)

I've seen critics say that all movie theatres should be required to buy digital projectors and to show all movies in digital projection, and then they will complain that the theatres which show movies with digital projection have the wrong settings for the projectors, etc. It's a huge capital expenditure, and I don't blame the theatres for holding on to film projectors as long as they can. There is a bit of a circular problem here, as studios won't release more digital movies until more theatres show digital movies, and the theatre owners are waiting for the studios to release move movies with digital projection before they buy more digital projectors.

If they are charging the same price, take your pick. If they charge extra for digital projection, I'd save my money and see it on film.

Can you download a movie digital copy to the xbox 360 hard drive and if so how?

I think the above answer is confused with downloading movies from Xbox live marketplace.

You cannot install the digital copy on an xbox 360. 'However' if you install the digital copy in windows media format on your computer, you will be able to stream the movie to your 360. If you have your 360 set up for media sharing of course.
