Can I Still Go To College

Can I still go to an amazing college with B’s?

Hello, this is Larry from Sagerize,It all depends on what is your definition of “Amazing”. I know school that give students a second chance is Penn State 2+2. I personally knew a student with a high school 2.6 GPA who attended Penn State York Campus, but worked hard and transferred to the main campus after the first two years. He received a full time offer from JP Morgan after his junior year with a starting salary of 90K+. He recently graduated and is now very happy with his job and career. My best advise to you is that college is only the beginning, not the end. Just because someone graduated from Harvard doesn’t mean he or she will be more successful than you. 10–15 years from now, they might be working for you.Best of luck in everything

I got an IQ of 75 can I still go to college?

Don't take a test taken over the internet as truth! Many of them are NOT accurate. Of course you can go to college. I would check out a local community college--not only is it easier to get in (not SAT or ACT), but the average age is older and you will be more comfortable. Start out by taking 1 or 2 classes; one should be English and one something you like that will apply toward a degree. You have the option to get a vocational technical degree (AS) or an AA which allows you to transfer to a four-year college. I started as a community college as an "older student" and did VERY well. I have very fond memories of my CC days, and encourage you to check it out. Go in and talk to the admissions people--they are used to people who are going back to school after being out for awhile. Best wishes for your success!

Can you still go to college if you suck at math?

Yes, you can get into college. No, you will not get into a great college. You will be competing against a bunch of kids who are good at math.

It's a cop-out to say you suck at math. The truth is that you don't like math and don't want to apply yourself to math. That's fine if you don't care about going to a good college or having a great career. It all builds up: The best firms only hire from the best Law Schools. The best Law Schools only take the highest GPAs from the best colleges. The best colleges only take the best HS graduates. And they know math.

So quit babbling on the computer, hire a tutor, and spend at least 3 times more effort studying math as you currently do. And do this now, while you have a chance to turn things around.

You're already in 8th grade, stop screwing around.

Can i still go to college even if i suck at math?

it isn't that you aren't good at math, the problem is that you haven't met the right person who can explain it in a way that you can understand.

Can I Still Go To College if I failed 9th grade?

Ok I failed 9th grade last year not because im not smart enough to do the work. But because I was wrongly accused of selling someone an "illegal peice of a plant" is what I will call it and I missed my whole second semester because of it. So now im in 9th again and I must admit that im not making the best of grades I barley passed last semester. But I want know if next year my sophmore year if I make good grades untill I graduate will a college see i changed my ways and accept me? If your going to be an a** hole please dont answer my question but to those of you who can tell me the 411 on things I would greatly appreciate it.

I still haven't done the SATs can I still go to college?

Unfortunately, if you were hoping to apply early, but don't have your SAT scores, you most likely will not be able to apply now, unless you have taken the ACT with writing, or for a few select schools, have taken three SAT subject tests. Some schools, however, don't require the SAT,  and you can apply now without penalty. But for must schools, the SAT or ACT is an application requirement. If you take the test in December, you will fine for regular decision (Jan. 1 for most schools). Hopefully everything works out! And good luck!

Can you still attend college while pregnant?

Yes. You can still attend college, but you may not be able to take some science classes due to the chemicals involved in labs. Also you need ot make sure you are eating well and getting enough rest. If it becomes too much for you to handle, don't hesitate to leave school.Your baby and your health is more important. Start figuring out what will happen after the baby is born and how you'll afford it financially.
Good luck and congradulations!

Do K-pop idols/trainees still go to college?

They do! For idols, especially male idols, it is crucial that they continue their higher education so as to prolong their enlistment date. By korean law, you have to enlist in the military after high school graduation if you are not going to college, so the better managed companies will definitely support their artist in pursuing a degree. They don’t usually graduate within the regular 3–4 years, it is not uncommon for idols to take twice as long as a normal student would to graduate with a degree. They don’t go to classes during the promotion period, certainly, but would attend if their schedule is free. Some idols attained the degree before they debuted (like Jin of BTS, he was a trainee while he was at college), some obtained it later (like Changmin of TVXQ, in fact he did a double degree and went on to secure a master degree too). Some do give up halfway, especially if they couldn’t fund their long-drawn education. But overall, the better managed idols, and the idols who had a clearer plan for themselves, would definitely try to get higher education.
