Can I Switch Back To The Old Yahoo Homepage Format

Where is my old yahoo mail homepage the new format sucks!?

If by "old" you mean the previous "New Mail": sorry, once you have the updated mail version, you cannot switch back to the previous "New Mail".

If however you want to switch back to "Mail Classic":

Yahoo has removed all links for getting back to Mail Classic, they warned users for a long time that it would be disabled completely one of these days. However, this link still works for most who try it: http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch . If it doesn't, you may get lucky by disabling Javascript - that also helps, but nobody knows for how long.

In case you don't know how to turn off Javascript...

For IE: tools -> internet options -> security. In security click "custom level" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. Remember to turn Javascripting back on when you are back in Mail Classic since without it some mail functions won't work

For Firefox: tools -> options -> content, click on "disable Javascript". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in yahoo email in order to kick in the option (permanent) to switch back to classic. Do not click on the "one time" option.

Note: when you sign out and come back, Mail Classic will automatically have been switched back to the updated mail, so you better bookmark the Mail Classic link!

How do I switch my yahoo homepage back to the classic view?

◙Yahoo is testing a new layout, but it is not hitting all users at the same time. They are testing it out randomly on people and some are getting it unfortunately!

"M.yahoo.com" (or another country's equivalent) is not the Yahoo.com version for mobiles, but a new site layout, which is tested on a couple of users without asking them for their consent first. Some users like it, but most don't. Many are upset, as they cannot get to their mails without clicking many different links before they get to read anything.

It explains all about the New Layout here in this link: -

◙Note:- Clear your Catches, Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and type http://www.yahoo.com/ in the Browser window. This will help you return to the Old Home Page as many have noticed this!

Switch back to classic view on Yahoo! homepage?

The other evening after deleting browsing history and the like after completing some financial transactions online, when I launched IE in Vista with Yahoo! set as my default homepage again, I actually was directed to m.yahoo.com. At that time though, there was an option to switch back to Classic View. However, I SWEAR that I cannot find it this time around. Also, the whole page is just a mess, period. There are links on top of links; I can’t see the “Web” “Images” etc. headings above the Search box and I of course sent feedback to Yahoo! and in the meantime have set Google as my default homepage, however, if anyone knows how to switch back to Classic View, please do share, as it would be ever so appreciated.
Thanks!

How do I get the old Yahoo homepage back? I HATE the new one!!!!!!!?

Instructions for "resetting" your home page to the old Yahoo! web page vs. the "new and improved" version.

1. Open your browser and go to a non-Yahoo web page.

2. Go into your options and clear your cookies.

3. Block the following cookie: m.www.yahoo.com

4. Close your browser (just for giggles).

5. Open your browser. You should be able to get the old Yahoo! web page even after you log back into your Yahoo! account.

This works for me using Mozilla FireFox 3.

What are some ways of getting the old Yahoo homepage back?

First, visit:Digital Library of Free Books, Movies, Music & Wayback MachineIn the top box, type in the address and click the buttonChoose a date and look at the site in all its archived glory. The site will be mostly broken though.Other than that, no. There is no way “to get back” the old Yahoo homepage.
