Can I Take A Junk Yard Car To Make A Race Car Out Of It

Should I sell this car to someone or a junk yard?

Long ago, I owned a 1970 Fiat 124 that had so many problems I was forced to junk it. The junkyard towed it away and paid me something like $25 for it. I see some ads on TV from auto wreckers that will take the car on an arrangement like that, although I think the going rate is around $50 now. That would be an option for you if you're just trying to get the hulk out of your driveway. I was unhappy with the deal I got on the Fiat because it had 4 good tires on it, that were relatively new. I thought it was worth more. I had better luck junking a '72 Ford Pinto (yep, I had one) that was totaled in an accident. All I carried on the car was liability, and the kid who hit me was uninsured, so I was out of luck as far as insurance was concerned. The driver of the tow truck that took it away from the scene got me in touch with a buyer who wanted it for parts, and I got a couple hundred for it, pretty good money in 1979. Aside from the considerable body damage, the engine, tranny, and other mechanical components were in pretty good condition. If I were you, I'd run an ad in your local paper to see if someone is willing to make you an offer on your Escort. You may be surprised. Although the mill is shot, there are body panels, seats, and other components that would still be worth something. If the car still runs, I can virtually guarantee you that you'll get more money for it than you would get from an auto wrecker.

Sure. As long as you know what to do an have the money. You can turn a piece of crap scape car into a beautiful classic sweet ride. My friend did that to some old car that was rusted up and wouldn't even start up. Now, it's something else entirely. Makes me wish I could something like that.

Can I get any money for this car at a junk yard?

Usually you can get more for them if you can drive them in rather then a totally dead one the comes in with a tow truck. I would try to get $250 for a runner.

Car junk yards, website anyone?

phone book and salvage yards they are called now days.... so you can surf it type in your state and auto salvage shoul dget you something phone book is a good way too

I am looking for a junk yard that will pick up my car and pay me !?

Check the yellow pages of your phone book and ask around locally. Years ago I heard of junk yards that would pick up your vehicle and pay you $100, but in more recent years on the east coast, I only hear of them towing it away for you free. You could try selling it for a low price as is. I've also seen commercials for charities that will tow it for free and you can take the book value of the car off of your income taxes. good luck.

Help please MY CAR WAS SOLD TO THE JUNK YARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?

you are going to could desire to call the police, no longer a lawyer. this is robbery. I doubt the vehicle remains in one piece. Sailor is authentic, up here in TN no depend if it quite is ten years or older they do no longer require a call to junk it which may be 2002 or older fashions now. They do fingerprint and reproduction IDs and write down the VIN so the police can verify and notice the place it became junked at. recently they have caught a pair of fellows with rollbacks finding out on up older autos and junking them here in Knoxville.

Making a street racing car is not a easy deal, We know that A street racing car is a car that is legal to drive on the street but has been modified to increase performance. People who modify their cars to increase performance test their cars out on legal racing courses such as the quarter-mile track or the auto cross. These are the things which need to be modified to make it a racing car :Increase the car's airflow : To increase a car's airflow, the stock intake, exhaust and headers of a car are exchanged for aftermarket parts. The stock options are restrictive for convenience reasons, usually because of sound and economics. Aftermarket parts increase the airflow to and from the engine and as a result increase horsepower.Upgrade the car's stock suspension : Stock suspension car be upgraded to more performance oriented after market options by changing the sway bars, installing strut bars and changing the springs to a stiffer variety. All of these upgrades stiffen the car and prevent car lean during cornering.Switch the stock tires for performance tires : Stock tires are designed to be economic. This makes them last longer but at the cost of having less friction. Performance tires provide more friction and slip at much higher speeds than the stock tires.Install forced induction on your engine : Turbochargers and superchargers compress the air before it flows into the combustion chamber. The more air flows into the engine, the more horsepower it will produce. Turbochargers and superchargers can drastically improve a car's horsepower.Lighten the car : A lighter car is faster and more responsive. Take out the back seats. Switch out the stock hood and trunk for a carbon fiber aftermarket part. Change the stock rims to a lighter aftermarket option.Turbochargers and superchargers are sold as kits by many manufacturers, providing everything needed for a complete forced induction system. Trying to get rid of junker car! Can't find the title ANYWHERE!?

i might laugh at you in case you have been to declare this in front of me and then kick you squarely indoors the nuts. Your wrongly comparing 2 matters without understand-how somewhat approximately the two. no longer all 2nd hand autos are the comparable and technically ever motorcar is 2nd hand as many people have pushed it to that showroom till ultimately now you got it. genuinely astonishing type autos are o.k. nicely well worth the money determining to purchase new. family contributors contributors autos and activities autos the value drops like a stone as at as quickly as with the aid of fact the back tyres leave the forecourt. A 2nd hand eastern motorcar will beat something in fee and reliability. besides the undeniable fact that, comparing that to a females individuals is chalk and cheese. If a females individuals has been stupid and has come sparkling and your no angel the two then your being unjust. If marrying a virgin is a regular factor of then you definitely say to the lady. yet putting forward there will be doubts and distinctive such trash i think of of your hoping it fairly is the case. you would be waiting to prefer to have some style of hatred of females as you're advising youthful widows and those divorced for one reason or yet yet another bypass through extra beneficial humiliation by potential of certainty they did no longer proceed to be virgins after marrying.

How do I get a title in my name for a junk car w/ no orignal title--New York?

You have two choices to make to get a title. One easy but costing a little and the other cheap but you will have to do documentation to get one.
First, if you look on the internet for auto title companies you will find there are numerous title companies, especially one in LasVegas I use where you give them the vin number and for $149 they send you a clear title for the car notorized for you to sign into your name and then you just take the title and car to your sheriff's dept for inspection just as any other out of state car you transfer. Even if the title was junked in your state they have no way to find out that it wasn't rebuilt and retitled in another state. This will be a clean title too, not a rebuild. Now if you want to go through the trouble you can call your clerk's office where you transfer vehicles and ask them what documentation you need to get a rebuild title for a vehicle. Don't volunteer any more info than they ask for. In the eyes of the govt a vehicle won't be junked out unless there is something wrong with it. This means you will probably have to get a few receipts for parts you put on it to repair it whether it be spark plugs or whatever. Keep receipts for everything you do to it as you will need them in the process. Most states allow you to reinstate a junked title as a salvage or rebuild title with the right documentation. Some states require a statement from the person who junked it stating why it was junked and then you need a receipt where you purchased it. I recommend the title service as it is a no-hassle way to get a title and get it quick. The other process takes up to a couple months sometimes to get taken care of. Hope this helps.
