Can I Take Valium Along With Fluconazole

Muscle spasms after taking fluconazole?

Honey, you have worked yourself up sooo much about this fluconazole, that if I said 'a rare side effect of fluconazole is blindness', you will convince yourself that your vision is blurry. (That is NOT a side effect by the way).

I would really suggest asking your GP to refer you to a psychologist. I'm not being mean or anything... anxiety is a real thing with REAL physiological body responses. Stress can also deplete your Magnesium and make your muscles twitch. (Go grab a bowl of muesli... good for magnesium). You need to sit down and talk to a professional about all this. Your level of anxiety and stress will cause ongoing problems otherwise. Teeth grinding is you being tense.

All the best.

What are the dental implications of epilepsy? Do you need certain training to work on someone with this disorder?

Generally epileptic patients have poorer oral health than non-epileptics in the general population but they can be safely treated in a general practice.Clearly you have to be prepared to deal with a seizure if it comes. But that is just about clearing potentially injurious dental tools away, reclining the chair, putting the patient in the recovery position to prevent aspiration, timing the seizure and calling 9–11 if the seizure lasts 3 minutes or more and/or the patient becomes cyanotic, administering oxygen, and being prepared to administer a benzodiazepine (IV or IM), waiting until the seizure is over, assessing the patient's level of consciousness, checking for any post-seizure oral or other injuries and making sure that they get home in the company of someone. From an oral health perspective, epileptics experience Increased decay, periodontal problems, earlier and more severe tooth loss, traumatic tooth injuries secondary to seizures.Depending on what anti-seizure meds they are on, the drugs can cause fibrous gingival overgrowth (Dilantin especially), osteopenia (decreased bone density) osteomalacia (soft bone), which can compromise the support of the teeth in the periodontium and lead to the need to extract teeth. Many anticonvulsant drugs cause Xerostomia (dry mouth) increasing decay risk.Additionally, many anti-seizure drugs cause drowsiness or a sedated state.Healing can be affected depending on the drug used. Valproic acid can suppress bone marrow increasing bleeding time and increasing the risk of infection.Removable dentures either have to be built with extra support and retention or not used at all depending on the frequency and magnitude of seizures especially with seizures that involve clenching. They can fracture and pose a choking risk.Antimicrobials like Flagyl (metronidazole), antifungals (fluconazole) and antibiotics (erythromycin) can negatively influence metabolism of the anticonvulsive drug leading to higher concentration of it sometimes necessitating adjusting the dose.So a dentist needs to be aware of the patient's seizure history/frequency plus the specific meds they are on to be able to provide the best care and eliminate anything that may compromise the patient's health.

Zolpidem and bromazepam together? (Stilnox and Lexotanil)?

Zolpidem and bromazepam taken together? with alcohol... plz help im worried about my boyfriend.. he has severe depression and taking these medications and sometimes with Xanax too..

Methocarbamol and Oxycodone together?

Although I do agree with MonTana to some extent. I to, have had eight back surgeries and have a Medtronic Spinal stimulator. I have osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages with severe neurological damages. We, who have pain in these severe stages cannot express the suffering we go through and, the discomfort all day and, the sleepless nights. I suffer for you.

Your taking some pretty strong meds. I take Vicodin with several types of muscle relaxers but, I do check with my doctor all the time. I use them sparingly, if at all, unless really necessary.
I just want to warn you so that you know, there are others out here like you, be careful with the drugs.
