Can I Transfer Office 2013 From A Surface Rt To A Pc

How do I transfer Microsoft Office to a new computer?

Transferring Office from one computer to another depends on two things.First is the version of Office you have. If you have an OEM license version then you cannot (Legally) install it on another computer. The concept and idea of an OEM license means, you get a cheaper price (Usually), but that license is permanently tied to one particular computer. So when that particular machine is thrown out, the license of the software has to be thrown out with it.The second thing is do you have the actual license key. If you have the license key AND it is NOT an OEM license, all you have to do is uninstall the software from your old computer and reinstall it onto your new computer. Reactivate the license on the new machine and you should be done.If you have lost your CD, but still have the key you should be able to download it from here: Download Earlier Versions of Office

Can you upgrade the Ram on a Microsoft Surface RT?

Hey I've heard that the Surface RT edition can get a little slow with multiple programs running, and that it would benefit from more RAM.

Is it possible to just pull off the back and add in a larger (4gb) Ram module, presuming it has a SO-DIMM slot in there somewhere?

I'm ignorant to whether the ARM architecture (not really sure what that is) even uses SO-DIMM slots or if it has a low maximum memory like the 32 bit versions of Windows had

PowerPoint won't work on Surface RT?

I have a Surface RT (the original surface tablet) and I cannot launch PowerPoint anymore. It was working last night because I was just on it. All other programs in Microsoft work... Word, excel, publisher, etc. I need this program to start working because I use it often and I need it currently.

When I try to launch it, it says "POWERPNT.EXE- Bad Image... C:\Program Files\MicrosoftOffice\Office15\1033\PPIN... is either not designed to run to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000428"

I tried restarting my computer and that won't work... Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? I don't have the "original installation media" because it came preinstalled on the tablet.

How do you download Google Chrome for Windows Surface?

It depends on the Surface tablet you own.If it is a Surface (no Pro or number, just plain ol’ Surface) or a Surface 2, you’re out of luck. These tablets only run Windows RT, and it is not possible to download and install Google Chrome onto them. However, if you have a Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, or Surface 3, you can easily download and install Google Chrome by clicking this link and following Google’s instructions.Good luck!
