Yes, He can be approved for that card and use it for himself or anyone else that he wants to use it for. BUT he would be responsible for the payments since it's under his credit/name. The only time you wouldn't be able to use it was if you had the physical card, went to the dentist, and he wasn't around since it would appear as if you stole the credit card. If he is with you or adds you as an authorized user you wouldn't have a problem. @ Dan B: Officially the bank is making sure they get paid back. Almost all, if not all credit card companies have that clause. In reality the boyfriend can charge whatever he would like. An easy example for this would be a regular Visa, MasterCard, etc. If you have a friend and doesn't have a credit card he/she may say..."can you charge this and I'll pay the bill when it comes". The bank would never care as long as they get their money back. The only problem is if the other person holds up their end of a contract and the 2 parties stop playing nice.

If all you need is wifi access, you probably don’t need your card. Go to the service or information desk, tell them you need wifi access and that you don’t have your card with you. (They don’t need to know that you’ve lost it!) They’ll ask you for some identifying information to confirm your account exists and that it belongs to you, and you can either get a temporary pass to use the wifi (which probably would be available to anyone who walks in the door, not just card-holders) or they’ll tell you your card number so you can access wifi, if that’s required by your library. (Also, check to see if you really do need any cash to get a replacement card. Many systems will do an initial replacement free of charge.)

You should be able to do that, as long as you have there full permission to do so. But You may have a hard time finding someone who accepts payments by credit card as the majority of eBay sellers only accept payment by PayPal. You could try and create a PayPal account, and link there card to it, but I don't know if they would like that idea because you would have full access to using it any time you wanted then.

If you do it with their permission the chances are nothing much will happen. The owner of the card may have violated their bank’s terms and conditions but is unlikely to make a complaint about it, so it’s unlikely there will be any comeback.If you do it without their permission you get to wonder how long it will be before the nice men in uniforms (you know, the ones with guns, tasers, handcuffs etc) pay you a visit. If you’re lucky you get to pay back what you took. If you’re really lucky you get a free vacation in a little room with bars on it. Some people in that position are lucky enough to have Bubba as a room-mate for their vacation. Most of Bubba’s room-mates wish they had a different room mate but can’t do anything to make that happen.
I allowed someone else to use my medical aid card?
My friend got hurt and i took him to hospital and seeing that he doesnt have a medical aid I told him to use my card, I filled in my details but when he filled in the second form he was so stupid and filled in HIS details instead of mine. So basically they will be able to see that I gave him permission to use my card which is obviously against the law, what now ?????
