Can People Tell If You Sent A Link To One Of Their Facebook Photos

Can people tell when I save their Facebook photos on my phone?

No.The saving of a picture is something that happens inside the browser software on your phone. No message goes off to the server - it’s just taking the data that the browser already downloaded and putting it on disk.HOWEVER: It is possible to write JavaScript code to lock out the “Save” option by redirecting the relevent touch or mouse-click events to your own software that does something OTHER than saving the image. That software could (for example) log what you did and then save the image for you.I don’t think FaceBook does that - but it’s possible on custom web sites to do things like that.

Do people get notified about my saving their photos from Facebook?

No they won’t. If a photo’s privacy settings will allow you to see it you can download it and the original poster won’t be notified.

Can someone see if I save a photo from their Facebook account?

For time being there is no option or notifications to user when someone saves his or her Picture from Facebook. But recently I have heard that WhatsApp/Insta or some other app is coming up with a tool which sends you notifications, if someone downloads or takes screenshot of your pictures. But I think that won’t be possible or help us in anyway because we have numerous ways to save that image.

I sent one of my friends a link to someone else's profile on Facebook. Weirdly enough his name appeared on the bottom of the link. I am now worried if Facebook will send him a notification or if he would know about it. Is it possible or are text messages private?

The name that appeared at the bottom is what we call rich link preview. Social media sites added support on this feature so people whom you send the link to can see quick information about the link you sent. This is an example of a rich preview of a link to a Facebook profile. And this is an example of a rich preview of a link to a news article:

When you share a photo from Facebook to Messenger, does it notify the person who posted it?

No, it won't inform the person who posted it in any way. What you're basically doing is sending a link to that post through Messenger and that's all. However, note that if the original post's privacy setting is such that it can be viewed with your friend (public or friends of friend etc), only then he'll be able to open the link and view the post.

If someone unfriended me on Facebook, can I see their profile?

the other person is wrong... if you were blocked, you wouldnt even be able to see their profile in the group

just because someone removed you as a friend doesnt mean you cant still see their profile, but you will see the public version of the profile instead of the friends version of the profile - it all depends on how the person has their profile set up

the reason they didnt show up in search is because they just made their profile unsearchable, which a lot of people are doing recently due to the hoax/scare of colleges and employers being able to see everything you do

On Facebook, if I share a photo or status to a private group or in a private message, will the original poster know?

Answer to this question would be a big NO,If the above statement would become true then big pages or celebrities or any specified person will get flooded with tons of notifications blinking every second. The original poster will be only notified about the engagements happening on his post like if someone liked, commented or shared anywhere. Now here we are contradicting our own statement by saying first that user won't be notifies besides I just wrote that he will get notification if the post is shared but if you look closely you asked if he will be notified when the post is shared in a private group or message. Now clearing this up, private group conversation or posts does not appears in facebook feed so you are free to do anything you want and only members of that group will be notified about it no one else. I hope my answer summarized points for you.

How can I keep my facebook profile inaccessable to those I sent private message to and they're not my friends?

Sorry, but the only way to keep your profile completely inaccessible to these people is to not message them. You might be able to hide your friends from them, but you're right -- they will have access to your profile pictures. They'll be able to see only *some* of your profile though -- not the whole thing. They'll only be able to see your Basic Info and Work/Education Info.

You can try to edit your Friends, Basic Info, and Education/Work Info on your Profile Privacy Settings:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/priva...

On the drop-down menus, check click "Only Friends." Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue Save Changes button. I don't know if this will necessarily prevent non-friends from seeing these aspects of your profile, but you can try. Otherwise, sorry, non-friends will always have access to your profile pictures, friends, basic, and education/work info whenever you message them.

Can somebody give me the facebook link that leads you to your own profile?

You can actually change the number to whatever you want. Any facebook link that starts "facebook.com/profile.php" will do the same thing.
