How can I make sketch of a person's face by seeing a pic?

I am an artist and I sketch mostly by seeing pic of the person. So let me tell you step wise the procedure.Step 1: Get a pic of the person. The pic should be in black and white form. If it is coloured, make it B&W.So,here i am using my latest sketch for example. This was the person's pic that i wanted to make.STEP 2: First make outline of everything. And do start with hairs making. Give ample of time for making hairs. Never shade hair, always make strands of hair as we have to look real. So,this is how I started.STEP 3: Always zoom the pic you are making. See each and every shade of it. The more eyes will look real, the more you can hide mistakes of your sketch. People get mesmerised to see eyes and they don't see whole sketch together. See the texture of skin and starts making it. Like hoe i did below-STEP 4: When the skin part making is over. The dress would be simple. The most important thing that you should see is the dark parts in the pic you have. And this is how you can make it a sketch by seeing pic. You just need to observe too hard to get real look. This is how i finished my sketch.It took me 5 days to make this sketch. I never finish my drawing in a day, always take time and to know how you can improve skills.It actually doesn't look exactly same, because i would say myself a beginner. Here’s my very amateur sketching of a lion’s head:I sketched this following a Youtube tutorial created by a talented artist, since I myself had absolutely no idea where to start. It was my first try at this, so unsurprisingly, while still having ample room for improvement, it took me a ridiculously long time to finish across the timespan of two weeks, where I worked on it from 20 minutes to 2 hours each day. And the artist who made the tutorial only spent 3 hours on it…I’ve been obsessed with drawing animals, especially big cats, since I was little. My mother saw my interest in drawing and helped me sign up for a sketching class, so that I could learn to draw properly. Unfortunately, being the impatient and naive kid I was, I decided that I didn’t like sketching for all its rules and hard work after going to the class for around 2 months. My mother was very understanding, so she didn’t push me. Then days and years went by and middle school happened, and I drew less and less, you know how it is.And now I really hope that she did.Because when I picked it up last year I realized for the first time how long it had been since I last drew something with a pencil, how much I missed it, and that I didn’t have a clue where to begin. Then it hit me that if only I persisted in the class a little and kept going, I could at least be better at it, or even good at it. Then surely I’d be majoring in Art right now and learning what I genuinely enjoy instead of bending over a lab notebook worrying about how many significant figures I should keep for the volume of a test tube of water. And for the record, I don't care if it’s 9.88mL or 9.9mL! *sighing profusely & contemplating my life choices*If you are still here, thank you for making it this far and sorry for the rambling :) Good luck to you all!!

Keep your message precise and humble:“Much appreciate your note. It’s good to connect with you.”2. Gladness Rule: If you want to express your gladness, however do not want to sound cheesy. Try thinking with a smile :“Thank you for your overwhelming note. You made my day! ”3. Sailing in the same boat:If you are fond of the sender and want to express your delight on the note from him/her. Keep it concise and pleasant:“All I can say, feelings are mutual.”4. Some one you respect/hold high regards for: If you respect someone like a mentor/boss, be humble and show your gesture of interest to connect with them.“Thank you, it’s flattering to receive your note. Hey i am Sunny Sohal (23), self taught Artist. Few years ago i tried to make my self portrait. At that time i was not perfect in sketching but i was satisfied with my work. I want to draw a sketch for my sister as a birthday gift, what should I draw?

1.Probably her portrait, if you are good at portrait drawings. I am saying this because, It will not be just the portrait, The portrait will have your efforts, your skills, your time and most importantly your feelings in it. It will be the best gift for her. (If you are really planning to draw her portrait then please double cross check that it matches exactly or nearly to person you are drawing. I have gone through same thing in early stage and the person next to me clearly refused that portrait saying it's not me.. :|  so be careful ). 2.If you are not really good at it then you might draw few of your memories in cartoon characters so that when she look at them she will remember that old memories.
