Originally, i.e in 1949, the Constitution had 395 articles.The total number of additional articles added before 101st Amendment were :- 103So, the total no. of articles increased from 395 to 395 + 103 = 498With 101st Amendment, 3 new articles ( 246A, 269A, 279A) were added. Thus, the total went up from 498 to 498 + 3 = 501The total number of articles repealed so far till 101st Amendment including article 268A are2A, 31, 31D, 32A, 131A, 144A, 226A, 228A, 232, 238, 242, 257A, 259, 268A, 272, 278, 291, 306, 314, 329A, 359A, 362, 379 - 391.= 35 articles repealed so far.Therefore, we get 501 - 35 = 466 Articles in total at present.Edit:Article 35A came into existence by the presidential order of 1954. This article is an offshoot of Article 370 and deals with Jammu & Kashmir (and it was not added to the constitution following the procedures prescribed under Article 368). This article 35A is not present in any part of the constitution.The total number of Articles is 466. Otherwise, if you will count Article 35A too, then the total number would be 467 articles.By 102nd Amendment article 338B and article 342A were added. surely, you can file a police complaint & take an action against him.I suggest starting by giving him a legal notice will be better, even after that he does not return you the money, you can sue him for that. But before suing, keep in mind that you have all the proofs that you gave him the money, all your chats that include the matter that he took that amount of money from you & that you have asked him to return you & he is delaying unnecessarily.also, if possible, call him up asking once again, leave aside the embarrassment, & record this call. you can submit the call record, the chats etc as a proof that you gave him some money. also, if you have any such proofs, collect them too, e.g. , any friends / witness(s) to this fact, make sure that your witness(s) do not turn hostile later. Gather all the possible proofs, facts, contact a good lawyer, by good, I mean that the one who has a real good knowledge of law & who won't loot you. Even if after a legal notice, he doesn't return you the money, you may sue him. He should return the money after a legal notice because then it will only increase his problems, not yours.Good Luck !

A Question about the Civil War??????
I spent most of my years in Richmond Virginia. Richmond is a GRAND LOVER of confederate icons. We have statues of Robert E. Lee that is displayed promantely on the Blvd. (I won't even get into all of that) HERE IS MY QUESTION: Why do SO MANY AMERICANS idolize the confederacy? I know that many peoples forefathers fought in that war, but mine did as well and I do not idolize them. One very important reason is b/c 75% of my family tree were the African slaves who were crippled & made to live lower than dogs under the cruel system of slavery. (The culture of slavery was the worst form of terrorism that exists) FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS 1. Why wasn't Jeff Davis and the confed. soldiers tried for treason and put to death at the end of the war?\ 2. Why wasn't the reconstruction plan followed thru? The Confed. states were restored to their with loyal gov. but the south found a new way slave Africans thru Jim Crow Laws. 3. What is it about the Confederacy that causes so much idolization?
