Can Someone Give Me A Percentage Of How Many Of Those Central American Illegals Will Show Up For

What percentage of the US Latino population are illegal immigrants?

Bad assumptions will lead to bad results, thus it's vital to start with reliable facts. A good estimate is just under 15% for the year 2014 … and probably 12-13% for 2018... so, where do these numbers come from? The Pew Center has studied several U.S. demographic trends that are relevant to the question and is an excellent source.First, see this: 5 facts about illegal immigration in the U.S.Second, see this: How the U.S. Hispanic population is changingEven though those Pew sources were from 2017, the most complete recent data is older, from 2014. We find 56,000,000 Hispanics in the US for that year. It’s not enough to simply divide the number of illegal immigrants by the total number of Hispanics. One has to determine the proportion of Hispanic and non-Hispanic among the undocumented. That’s not trivial. There were ~110,000 illegal Canadians throughout the decade of 2005-2015... how many illegal Canadians were French-origin and how many were Hispanic? When extracting the number of illegal Europeans, does one include Spain in Hispanics or not?Assuming that broad geographical regions are valid, see this for a geographical breakdown: Unauthorized immigrant population trends for states, birth countries and regions (click on "Region/Country of birth")The numbers are as follows… For 2014, the total illegals in the U.S. were 11.1 million. For the same year, 2014, the country of origin was broadly from Mexico = 5.85, Central America = 1.7, South America = 0.65, Dominican Republic = 0.17. If we assume all of those people were Hispanic, we get 8.37 million Hispanic and 2.73 million everyone else. So, for 2014, if one divides 56 M by 8.37 M, one gets 14.9% or just under 15%. Note that illegal immigration in the US has been steadily declining throughout the Obama years, and the specific level from Mexico declined by an even greater proportion before Trump ever came on the scene. This has been widely reported, but in these data, it is graphically apparent. Meanwhile, the Hispanic population is the fastest growing segment in the U.S. So as a result of these counter-trends, the proportion of Hispanics that are undocumented is estimated by extrapolating the trendlines, arriving at 12–13%.See also these US Census documents on Hispanic demographics:https://www.census.gov/content/d...https://census.gov/content/dam/C...https://www.census.gov/content/d...

Illegal Immigration: can someone give me the counterargument?

Wow...this is always good, the "counterargument", reading about people trying to justify breaking the law!!!!

It sounds as if someone needs to take a reading comprehension class. He said the ones that REFUSE TO LEARN our language, not the ones that "choose not to speak in English". And he did not say these are "automatically illegal", nowhere in his post is the word "automatic" used or implied.

He also mentioned them sucking up our public services, why did you ignore that portion of his post, and instead twist a portion of ONE SENTENCE by inserting your OWN WORDS?

P.S. I am for deporting ALL illegal aliens. Period. No matter what country they come from.

Are these "so called righters of wrong", you know, those so called "illegals" ??

Why do Mexicans come here illegally? Why don't they just show their passports and cross legally?

Because a visa to the US is hard to get for most Mexicans. You have to be wealthy, a professional something like that, with strong ties to return to their country.I’ll explain why:First, understand that in every situation, crossing nation’s borders where a visa might be required, there is a specific dynamic and the country that is gate-keeping it’s border will want to give visas in accordance with their country’s needs and concerns.Mexico wants and needs tourism and sees few downsides from US or most visitors so they give visa or whatever you want to call it, freely. It has a relatively lower economy (whatever that means) than the US, so most visitors aren’t coming to Mexico to work. The exception would be Central Americans, but they generally heading North. On the other hand, the US dynamic with Mexicans entering is that there is a potentially huge influx and mostly of people who are coming to work, not tourism and will overstay their visa. So the US immigration, in deciding which Mexicans get tourist visas, will be looking to assure that they only give visas to people who are likely to comply with the US laws and not overstay their visa. That rules out everybody who’s coming entering illegally! If they thought they could qualify for a visa, they would!

Why do Mexicans discriminate against central Americans?

What the Fck are you talking about?

I'm Mexican I don't hate Central-Americans, it's actually quite the contrary. It's the central-American who hate Mexicans. I'm well aware that we're virtually the same race of people. From my experience it's the central-American who attempt to distance themselves from Mexicans. They get pissed off when they get called Mexican.

I do however find central-American nation to be repulsive. They are among the worse in the world. No way in hell can the damage be reverse. In addition, many central-American countries are flooded with blacks, who ended up there due to the British and Spanish, which MAKES central-America less related to Mexico.

Edit- oh so your not even mestizo.

Does Canada have a lot of illegal immigrants from Mexico & Central America?

@ Needful Sinner - thanks for answering. So you're saying that illegal aliens are very rare or nonexistent in Canada? If so, it's really interesting, because... I mean, I don't even know why it took me so long to think of this question to ask - it just never occurred to me, and yet it's such an obvious question to ask. The US media basically NEVER covers Canada... it's just amazing. Here in the US, illegals have ways of getting other people's SS numbers, and using them to get employment. I believe they can also get bank accounts. If they get sick, US hospital emergency rooms are required to treat anyone without asking for proof of citizenship or visa status. What happens in Canada if an illegal alien tries to get a job or shows up at a hospital? Do they get arrested and deported?

Why are there so many illegal immigrants from Mexico in Los Angeles?

I was there two weeks ago and I seriously couldn't believe it. I heard that LA has so many illegals from countries like Mexico and Central America, but it was even more insane than what I expected. Of course I don't know if every single one of them was illegal, but it's well known that LA has loads of illegals from Mexico. I saw them standing in front of the Home Depot, working virtually everywhere without nobody caring about it, and my friends told me they also use loads of services like medical, education, subsidized housing and so on because they know all the ways around it. No wonder California is bankrupt if you give all these jobs to illegals and provide them with expensive services like that. I heard for every $1 they pay in, they take out $2 to $4. The stats on that vary.
